THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY YA'LL!
How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your New Year's Day? Ours was on to go and relaxing too. Started off by getting up, showering and heading to the grocery store after having read the paper. Skipped my cuppa until afterwards. Kitchen was getting bare! Got back and unloaded groceries then caught up on some things and started chores. Mom & I put together shelving for the buggas many, many books and I got a few other errands done. Later in the pm, we had some nice company and we all visited for a while. Got a couple gifts for the holidays which were nice for the buggas & I. Company left and we got into jammies and I continued cleaning. Took some Tylenol PM and conked out.
What's on the books for your Friday & weekend? Kayla & I are headed downtown for her follow up after surgery this am. There will be a lot of walking due to the different buildings we will be going to. Exercise! That's going to be our morning. In the pm, we're going to get some more chores and To Do List items done. As for the weekend, we're taking down the Christmas tree and all the trimmings and decorations and pack things up until next year. We're also going to try to get out and about for some nature time. Otherwise, I'm not sure what's on the books for us. I hope EVERYONE has a wonderful Friday & weekend.

Well....I getting ready to change into my workout clothes and head to the gym to do something positive and healthy for myself. I hate not being active and this surgery was worse (mentally) for me than the last one. So....I heading back a little earlier than expected.
Let's see...what's up for the weekend? Well...I've got a great book (another goal for this year was to read 3 classics this year), get some chores done around here and maybe head over to Barnes and Noble.
I also want to get my craft room organized a bit. I have things all over the place from Christmas and that incvludes gifts that were to be mailed out - haha. Oh well...you knolw how it goes - time just gets away from us.

Good luck getting the craft room organized. I finally got that done, or rather cleaned up my "artsy fartsy" room several weeks back and was so happy to finally get Nanny's antique sewing cabinet displayed properly. :) I'm so proud to have it. Too bad she can't know... She gave it to my SIL (her granddaughter) but Lisa didn't want it and I grabbed it like a thief. I will surely keep it in the family and should I not have a daughter will pass it onto my niece Sarah one day. :) We secretly transferred it from Ohio to VA last year. :)

After that I have a couple of errands and then I need to get some sleep for tonight and tomorrow.
The kids and I will leave about 11:45 tonight to go to work and hopefully be home early. I will need to get some sleep so I can be at work again at 9:30 in the morning. I am planning on a full day (probably until 8 tomorrow night) and then sleeping before work again. Sunday will be church, picking up returns, getting the billing together for Monday and doing the laundry and housework. Nothing too exciting for me this weekend!
Prayers that all goes well this AM with Kayla's appointment..let me know what happens!
