I always cut the front of the card, either the whole thing or just parts of it, to make gift tags for next years gifts.

thanks kath. Never thought of that. I have always just held on to the piles of cards I get. I think I will use this idea

I use them for:

1. scrapbooking.
2. to add embleshiments to photo frames...but a larger frame and cut out parts to put borders around all or part of the picture
3. as gift tags for next year
4. and my favorite is to fill a basket and pull one or two out every few weeks, say a prayer for the person/family that wrote it to me/my family and then try and drop them a card or a note to let them know I/we are thinking about them

Hey Tammy,
Those are some good ideas, I esp. like the number 4 one. That is what I am going to do with some of mine. Thanks for the tips.

I cut the front of the card off and make a tree ornament for the elderly in nursing homes to hang on the tree. I punch a hole at the top then pull a ribbon throught it. I make a small bow and put it on the card. On the back of the card I write a Bible verse and a prayer for them
