How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your weekend? I posted about our Sat so I'll just update about our Sun. It was a little less on the go than Sat and I took a small break from making & baking. I was early to rise and enjoyed some cuppas, read the Sun paper, caught up on emails and got lots of laundry done. Of course there are tons of Cmas movies on so the buggas had a great time flipping through channels and picking things they enjoyed. We went to my sister's for a bit and I forgot to take an allergy pill and dang it all I came home broken out and itchy. Booo! They have 2 cats Shelby Lynn and Ruby. Ugh! They are so darn cute but I'm so darn allergic. Imagine that! Anyhow, my sister and I ran a few errands and then the buggas and I came home in the pm and watched Mickey Mouse Cmas movies and then Nora conked out early and Kayla wasn't far behind her then me. I slept pretty decent. I did get a couple text messages so I'm asking for prayers for a couple people in our family. There was an ER visit in which I'm not sure of the details at this point this am.

What's on the books for your Monday? Today is officially Winter Break. Friday was K's last day until 5th January. So, there is more baking, making and eventually wrapping up of things. There are several To Do List items, several chores and working out some details of some things this week that sprung up on us. I'd like to ask for prayers for everyone and I'll be saying them for sure. I hope everyone has the best Monday they can. All best!

Morning Beautiful!!!!  Glad to hear your weekend was good!  Mine was pretty great too!!  Friday night is was finishing up the shopping.  Saturday I stayed home all day an did some baking.  Saturday night it was a dinner date with my bestie.  Yesterday it was a lazy morning of sleeping in, then off to get me an early Christmas present, got a new cell phone as I dropped & killed mine yesterday a.m.  Then it was off to my mom's for Christmas at her house.  As always what a crazy joy to watch all my nieces & nephews with their Christmas stuff.  Then it was home for a quiet evening of laundry & more baking.  Today is the Christmas party at work, work again tomorrow then I am off til the 5th.  Boy am I ready for it.  Hope you have a geat one!  Love you much.

KK - prayers heading to you and your family, hope all turns out ok.  Today for me, off work (HOORAY)!  going to costco, meeting the trainer at 1pm, daughter gets bottom braces at 2pm, and then TONS of house cleaning to do.  love to all, lys

Good morning sunshine, It is freezing and I just can't deal with this cold frigid weather.
Today I am just going to do some cleaning and laundry and take the rest of the day just relaxing before I have to venture out tomorrow to the grocery store and finish up the Christmas shopping.

I went to bed early last night because of a migraine.  I'm so thankful for the extra hours of sleep as I had a very disruptive sleep and needed that extra time to just get my normal hours of beauty sleep in.  Sigh...

This morning has been RUN RUN RUN here at work.  We are trying our best to get everything caught up and out the door before we leave for holiday shutdown tomorrow afternoon.  I'm very much looking forward to our annual company meeting tomorrow before we close out the day!

Have a great rest of the day and have a wonderful holiday break off of school with the girls.

I had a really busy weekend too. For those of you who don't know it, I have been suffering from a cold for a month - it got steadily worse until it got in my chest and I also had a sinus infection so I have been functioning on low battery power for a while lol! It gets very tiring coughing your lungs out day and night - so today is the first day I am starting to feel better and at least feel I may get rid of it. So I have not been around as much as I should have been - this misery loves company is not always true lol!!

I will try to be better......

So this weekend we finished up most of our Christmas shopping, took Connor to see Santa - he was so cute - went to Connor's Christmas Concert - he was so shy and cute - and just getting a ton of things done.... we wrapped presents and Connor "helped" me - I use that word metaphorically as anyone with a 5 year old can attest to, their idea of help and yours are two different things lol!!

Connor is just counting down the days to Christmas and it is nice when they still believe - I know next year he might not but as long as he does it is good enough for me lol!! It is very magical to see Christmas though a child's eyes..... I will always treasure this time spent with him....

So the rest of this week will be spent getting ready for Thursday and running around!

Happy Winter to all of you....and does it feel like winter has arrived. Brrr! Brrr!
 The night was restful until about 3am when I needed to get up tp take a pain pill. Getting back to sleep is tough for me. One day soon, the night pain will leave. I am so looking forward to that.
  After getting up and getting ready, I headed to my favorite spot for a cuppa. Then drove to the gym for physical therapy. Work out is getting tougher...10 weeks out from knee surgery. More is expected, with less pain...right.
    Stopped at Giant for ingredients for a Christmas jello salad. At home, rested and worked on knee exercises. Going to make the dough for fruitcake cookies, which sits in the fridge overnight.
    Love finding packages at my door when coming home. The packages sit under the tree until Christmas.
