Update...

Hi everyone...

I just wanted to send a quick note to say that my grandfather went to be with the Lord today (12/10/2008) at 445pm. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren and it was quick and peaceful.
I was holding his hand singing in his ear and he just slipped away. I am so very blessed to be a part of the family that he created...he was an extraordinary man who loved his family deeply. He will be missed and grieved for...but, he is not suffering and is no longer in pain. He is whole and perfect and with his family that passed before him.

I am drained physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. I will likely not be able to receive phone calls or update here for the next few days as I try to recover my energy and get through the funeral process.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and love for me and my family. You have no idea how very much I need you all and your support...and you will never know how very much I appreciate it.

sorry to hear about your grandfather, but i can tell he was well loved and truly blessed to be surrounded by his family. Your faith will get you through this. We all love you, and will continue to pray for you and your family. Thanks for letting us know. lys

You and your family are in my prayers. I am sorry for the loss of your grandfather. I am thankful that you were there with him at the end. I know that is comforting to you both. We are here if you need anything...just let us know. Take all the time you need to recoup/regroup and know that we are not going anywhere!
