IT'S TOTALLY TUESDAY YA'LL!

Hey Brooke :) Hope you are feeling better today. Prayers have been said and will continue to be. Everyone has days when they are down and just remember that's what we are here for. Tell yourself you will look at this in the future and say ugh I remember when but that was then and this is now. I pray you get better and better. How's things with Alex any change yet?

 As usual, I missed the AM check in, but I'm here at last.  Kat, this REALLY was a good idea you had...everybody popping in & filling in how their days are going.  And for the record (as IF you didn't know already), Tammy did a bang up job filling in for you while you were away!

My day started out miserable...so much pain since I've contracted dry socket from last week's tooth extraction.  I really didn't think I would get it since all was fine until Friday evening.  Then BANG!  The whole weekend was awful...the vicodin the dentist prescribed did nothing for me.  Taking that stuff is like taking baby aspirin for me.  Happily, I went to see him today & he not only worked his magic but also prescribed GOOD drugs.  I go back next Wednesday to get FOUR fillings!  Yes, I've neglected my dental health for much too long.  Chalk it up to too many traumatic incidents with dentists.  Won't go into detail, but suffice to say THIS dentist is going out of his way to make me comfortable.  I won't say I look forward to going, but I WILL go...that's saying alot...lol.

Even though I don't have my tree & decorations up yet, I did do some Wally time this afternoon & bought a few things.  I'm behind in my gift making so I've enlisted Mike's help.  He's making his brother a scarf on the Knifty Knitter.  I would LOVE to take a photo of him doing it, but everytime I reach for the camera he throws me a dirty look....roflmao...so I guess I'll have to be content with the fact that he's doing it at all.  Guys are so funny.

As you know, the newpaper article came out today so I'm floating on cloud 9 right now.  Brooke, Darling, reach in over here & grab some of this enthusiasm..I have plenty to share.  I am so sorry you're having a tough time.  If you would like, I'll PM you my number & we can sit & gab for hours if you'd like.  I may not be able to be there in person, but I'm just a phone call away.

Kat, I'm sorry to hear you're having those aches & pains...ouch!  But you are such a trooper...you keep pushing forward when so many would just stop.  I'm proud of you.  But as you keep saying, listen to your body...don't do too much.  You are NOT the type to be held down.  And we all know Tammy isn't either...lol.  Was it earlier this year, Tams, that you had to stay off your feet?  Anyway, Kat, we haven't had a good yak-fest in too long.  We should do something about that soon.

So Tammy, how'd things go at the dr's?  And what's Frogger's nursery theme?  As for the piggie boyfriend, please tell me you didn't pay it.  I don't blame you one bit for being upset.  Movie night...that sounds good.  I need to do something like that with my family too.  I've noticed that little by little, we're spending much too much time seperate.  Don't even eat our meals at the table anymore.

Ms. Courtney...first off, LOVE the new avatar, but then you're such a beauty anyway.  I hope you're feeling better & good job on making a date with yourself.  Those girls of yours sure are growing up quickly. 

Ok, hubby's home so I need some of his time before he makes his transformation into couch potato.  See ya'll tomorrow!!

Hey Ann :) I thanked Tammy. She did a great job as well. Thanks. I'm sorry you are in so much pain with the teeth. Hopefully you can get it taken care of and feel better in the next couple days.

Congrats again on the article! That's wonderful and I'm happy for you and proud of you and those who have helped you. It does mean a lot sending those care packages.

No worries! I'm going to be fine. I always find a way. You know I haven't been much of a talker for a while now. I'll leave this alone but just to say please don't feel like I'm ignoring you. I'm not "ready" to talk about a lot right now. :)

AWWW..Thanks, sweetie!  Glad you are feeling somewhat better from the dry socket...hope you continue to improve.  I am going to update things about yesterday in a bit...kind of in a tizzy right now...very nervous.  The nursery theme is...what else...FROGS!  I also have a few monkey things in there as well!

I hope you are able to get the health stuff in check with the eating changes.  I'm thinking of you!  :)  HUGS!
