Major vent- no sympathy needed, but have to get this off my chest

You know what this feels like?  Like we're all sitting around the living room, cup o whatever, just gabbing, & dissing the outlaws!  I LOVE IT!! 

Ok, so how's THIS for *****ing?  Ya'll know how crafty I am...got my hands into all kinds of stuff.  Well, I decided to cross stitch a really pretty thingie for mil.  I spent weeks & weeks working on it & when it was done I was sooooo proud of it.  I could hardly wait to send it to her.  That ***** called me when it arrived and all she did was pick it to pieces, saying that I did it completely wrong, that the back is supposed to look as good as the front, blah blah blah.  I was so hurt at first...than I got pissed.  I told Mike she can **** up a rope before I EVER make her another thing.  And ya know what?  I never did.

Actually I'm glad we're venting like this, being's how I'm a mil-to-be now.  Ya'll keep an eye on me & if you see ANY signs of my becoming a mil-from-hell, just SMACK THE CRAP outta me, ok?  You won't even have to tell me why you smacked me...I'll just know...lol.

And Lauren?  I'm with you Girlie...I've quit buying cards too.  Besides, where the hell did it have anything to say about being hubby's secretary in the marriage vows?  I've married this same guy 4 times now & at no time did I EVER utter such words!  Soooo, DILs unite...

Ann, as a fellow cross-stitcher I SO HEAR where you are coming from.  I too would have been so proud and true, skilled stitchers back of work can look very neat and tidy, but most people just don't have the time or patience for that.  The fact that she even turned it over to inspect your style is f'd up.  Ugg.  What a ******

I love blackwork, mainly because if done right it looks perfect front or back.  I wish I had that kind of skill.  I've tried it a few times, but again just focus on the front finished product.  :)  You tell Mike you have to move to Richmond so we can craft together.  :)  :)  :)

Oh and I will personally take on your challenge of smacking the crap out of you if you ever cross over the horrible MIL line, which I'm sure you never will.  :)

Well my parental in laws have passed so I didn't get to know them but the sybling in laws have issues.  It is "my fault" that they don't get to see hubby as much as they want, I "chose" my family over them, etc.  Last time I checked hubby had opinions and could make decisions and could do things on his own if he wanted too.
