I've actually been bumming. My best friend in the whole wide world moved to TN and I'm so lonely. She and her husband were always over here with me and hubby doing something. Now I feel like I have no one. I don't know how I'm going to get through all this surgery stuff alone. Blah, I'm having a pity party. Ignore. Nice to see everyone again. I have missed you all. :)

You don't need a pity party...I know it is hard but you have the phone and internet...and TN is not that far to go for a visit! There are lots of us on here that are close enough to visit you, too. You will do fantastic!

Congrats! It will be here before you know it. I found that arming myself with all I could learn helped make it thru the beginning with less stress. I started drinking out of sippy cups and eating with small kids utensils and plates ahead of time to get used to it. Tried proteins and got them in my system to help with healing. I was ready to walk when I woke up. Maybe u can use the time to research and learn all you can. Pray you and your friends can keep in touch and add many new friends to help fill the void you feel. Know how it feels when you dont have people you are used to talking to. Life happens though, have to make the best of it.
