All done with preop requirements!

I had my chest xray and psych eval today, thats everything that Dr. Barker wanted!. I saw Ms. Boone in the hallway and she said to call Friday for my preop appointment!!.( I guess I passed psych, strange visit). I guess Dr. Barker will give me a tenative surgery date at that time? (anybody that can answer this?) I'm pretty resigned to the fact it will probably be January, but, as Tam said, everything happens for a reason. I never thought I'd get this far, so wooowoooo!!

I will be making the trip back to PNH tomorrow night for the support group meeting, even in this terrible weather, so I hope to see you Hampton Roads folks there!  Can't wait to meet you all and see your progress.

That is awesome news!  I am praying that you get a date soon...but it will come when it is your time.  Remember...the best things come to those that wait!  I am glad you have completed all of your preop.  That is the hardest part!  You will be on the losers bench before you know it.

Yay!  I believe Dr Barker gave me my surgery date at my pre op appt, too.  You will also have another pre op appt a few days to a few before your surgery and be prepared to be gone for a few hours that day.  You will have to check in at a few places and stuff.
