I'm happy we caught it before it developed into anything serious, but they are also treating is as if it was a Melanoma and excising skin around where the mole was and checking for more precancerous cells. He's also getting a referral for dermatology to have the 400+ other moles checked....

So I'm giving myslef a pay on the back for noticing the color change in the mole and catching it before it had a chance to do anything...YEAH!!!

You definately deserve a pat on the back for so diligently watching his changes. Thank goodness you spotted the abnormal color. Let us know how the followup goes at the dermatologist.

I know I didn't get a chnce to reply to your first post. But I did read it and had your husband in my prayers! I am glad you were so vigilant and got him in there. Please keep us updated on his progress and wha the pathology results say after his biopsy!
