Hey Ken.  First of all, good luck with your surgery tomorow.  You are in good hands!

Now, I like the taste of the Bariatric Advantage vitamins the best.  They have everything that I need in chewable form and I am set up on the quarterly refill program so they are shipped automatically and I do not pay shipping.  I get the multi, B-12, iron and calcium from them.  They only thing I buy over the counter is the A and D and I like the Nature Made of those, plus I take a monthly booster pill that I have a prescripton for because my levels were low at the last blood work check.

They are not cheap, but average.  Once I get everything it ends up being about $1.00 a day for everything.

I am available for a visit in the hospital if you would like to see anyone.  Just let me know!

Oops...for got to say...since you need them now, I just started using the ones wron Walgreens or Wal Mart directly after surgery.  I changed to the higher quality ones as soon as the bottles were donw.  I wanted the best possible results for my health!

Best wishes for a great surgery and uneventful recovery! As for vitamins I take 2 prenatal's with iron, 1 A&D (cod liver oil), 2 calcium chewables, B12 (sublingual) and vitamin C. I get mine at Walmart.

Hey Ken,

Good luck on your surgery, I will say a prayer that everything goes well and you have a speedy recovery!!! I take everything that everyone has talked about already and I get pretty much all of it from Bariatric Advantage just like Tammy.  Depending on the amount of Vit. D you take will dictate where you get it.  I am on 10,000 IU/day which I can only find from Bariatric Advantage.  I found vit. D at the Vitamin Shoppe is dosages ranging from I think 400 IU to 1000 IU.  These are a capsule that you open up and mix into your food.  I do take my calcium from Twin Lab which I get from the Vitamin Shoppe but lately its getting worse, so I am hoping to switch to a pill that I can swallow soon.

You are doing great!

Amanda,

Have you tried the chewables from bartiatric advantage?  They have chocolate, cherry and mint.  I prefer the chocolate ones.  They will send you a couple of samples of each pack if you ask them to.

Yeah, I really liked the chocolate ones before surgery, but I tried one after and it was terrible.  I think I still have a couple, so I may try them again because these Twin Lab ones are getting terrible.

I have to agree the Twin Labs ones are awful! I ordered UpCal that you mix in water or any other drink. It is not really good post surgery because you can't really drink that much right after. I"m going to have to go to the bariactric web site to see what else I can use from them!

Good Luck on your surgery!!!
