WELCOME TO MONDAY YA'LL!!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your weekend? Mine/ours was a mixed bag. I think I've finally slayed the Sick Fairy which I'm so happy about. No one else got sick so that's a good thing. Spent a lot of the weekend dragging butt but made it through errands and chores and got quite a bit more done than I thought I would. Got the buggas costumes for Halloween. They love them! Worked on finishing my book but just not there yet. Things kept coming up. I had the roughest day Saturday. It was one of those days where fluids were all I could get in and keep in. So, I drank my protein shakes and fluids and let it go at that. Most of Sunday was the same. In the pm I ate some soup which worked out well. Watched 2 amazingly touching movies and it really gave me new appreciation for science, the funds needed to search for cures and the strong willed individuals who have come before us with testing and experiments (HIV and Breast Cancer). I spent a lot of time to myself this weekend as well. I think that is very much needed right now and will probably continue for the next several days. I'm processing and journaling a lot and I am seeing things quite differently now. Prayers please that I find the strength to work through these things.

What's on the books for your Monday? Going to get some work out of the way, I'm going to be in contact with some doctor's for other opinions and thoughts on something, am working towards finishing some smaller projects and I'm hoping to enjoy the day. I hope everyone has the best Monday and don't forget to smile. Big hugs, lotsa love and all that jazz.

Good morning! Glad you are feeling a bit better and that no one else managed to get sick! Glad that Kayla & Nora got costumes they love. Cameron has actually decided that this year, he is too grown up for cutesy costumes and has graduated to a more scarey costume. Seems as though we both passed some time the same way on Sunday. I too, watched that movie, "Girl, Positive". It was such a true & touching film. Glad you got in some "me" time for yourself. Prayers definitely going out for you, for the strength you need to get through all you are working through.

Well this is my last week before I start school again. Since I was sick a few weeks ago, with Bronchitis, I ended up missing like 9 days so I had to re-enter so that I wouldn't be so far behind. Since that time, I have been spending so much time up at Cameron's school, sharing lunches with him, helping the class out. I will actually miss doing all those things as well as all those great wonderful kids in his class. So for today... I will be doing more cleaning, and sorting through things, getting rid of things that have no use or place, or significant memory. We started, or did most of the halloween decorating this past weekend so I will be just finishing up that too. And maybe even a WELL NEEDED trip to the gym..... since I haven't been in a while. Guess switching things up is good, huh?

Have a great Monday and good luck with your dr call's! I think it's going to be a great start to yet another great week!

Morning Beautiful!!!!  So glad to hear you are feeling better & had a good weekend.  I had a great weekend myself.  I took some time to myself to sort through some of my mental issues.  Realized that some of the stress I am dealing with is out of my control and I am just going to have to make the best of it and some of it I can control & work on.  So hopefully my head is on a bit straighter and I can deal with things better.

Friday was quiet at work as most everyone was out for the day, which was very nice for me.  I was really able to sit and get some things taken care of which were much needed and helped to ease my worries about being overloaded.  Finally got hubby's truck out of the shop.  Don't really care for the bill we got but at least we have both vehicles back now.  We took the oldest girlie to the football game & one of my friends joined us for the evening.  Saturday I got up & headed over to my mom's for a candle party.  Enjoyed some time with family & friends and ended up with a tag along nephew who wanted to spend the night with Auntie Ney.  He & I went off to the youngest girlies soccer game, then headed to Walmart to get him a new outfit to wear on Sunday and ended up with a special Spiderman hat & glove set.  Headed home for some fun time playing video games.  Fixed dinner and then headed out to the pet store for a new cage for our hamster.  My nephew helped me put it together and then it was bath time.  After that we cuddled for a bit before bed.  Sunday a.m. was up for more play time and fun.  Our girlies had stayed with their mom on Saturday cause they had some fun stuff planned so we headed out to get them in the afternoon.  Out to the mall we went to look for jewelry for homecoming.  We hit the grocery store & then home to finish up fixing dinner.  My sister, her husband and other 2 boys came over for dinner & to pick up my nephew so we had a fun with more play time, watching the redskins game and such.  Having my nephew for a sleepover was fabulous.  It was so nice to be able to spend some special  time with him, spoil him a bit and all.  His brother was a bit upset about being left out & says it is his turn next weekend.  Then we finished up the night with laundry & getting ready for bed to start a new work week.

Hope you have a great day!!!  Love you much!!!

Good Morning, Sunshine.....

Glad to hear that you are finishing your book.  It's a long time coming and I can't wait to read it.

Sounds like you had a jammed packed weekend.  Hope the tummy is feeling better.

John and I went camping this weekend.  it was great - just us and the dogs.  Nice to get away, lay around and do nothing for 2 days.  yep...I literally did nothing.  I needed it!

Now, I'm re-energized to get things moving.  Less than 30 days until my plastics.  Can't wait!  Looks like each weekend is full of things until then, so it will make the time go by fast.

So, what's today look like?  Not much going on.  Looks to be a quiet day here int he office.  I'm getting to where I hate the quiet days in the office.  Creates too much boredom eating.  I've had to really limit what I bring in/keep in my desk because of it.  But, find that the boredom carries to home because nothing has in my day has been stimulating.  Make sense???

Enjoy your day....take it easy!

Good morning, beautiful!

I am so glad the sick fairy is leaving you and praying that it just goes on about it's business and leaves the rest of us alone.  I can't wait to see what the buggas are going to be for halloween.  Kara is still undecided what she wants to do and if she wants to dress u*****t...so we will see.  She will probably decide on the 30th and have me scrambling...but I'll be happy doing whatever as that's what parents do!

Friday was an awesome day for me for the most part.  I lounged in bed late and listened to the rain and then got up to get some errands done.  I had a doctors appointment with a new doc in the afternoon and then came home and got some more things done.  Then we all watched a movie before heading to bed early.

Saturday was my day to work so I headed off to the office at 8:40 AM.  I got off at 2 then headed down to Hampton for the Panera get together.  It was such a pleasure meeting Betty and Missy and seeing Rikki again.  After that I headed to Williamsburg to do some shopping.  My intentions were to window shop but I found some really good deals and put some things up for Christmas.  All in all I spent less than I thought and got some really neat things.  I am looking forward to heading back down there with some more money (whenever that may be!) and getting some more good deals.  Picked up the kiddos from BG and headed home.  I dropped them off at Adams house for a bit and came home for some "me" time.  Steve and dad were off prepping the hunting grounds and I had the house to myself except for the doggies.  I light the fire place up to take the chill off of the air, popped in a movie and curled up in the recliner with all three dogs and enjoyed myself.  Went to pick the kiddos up about 9:30 and brought them home so Adam could go and help work.  I stayed up until the three amigos (Steve, kara and Adam) left for work then I crashed until 3:30 when I got the call that I was needed.  Actually...they didn't need me but another vehicle so off I went.  We unloaded my truck first and then it was off to bed for me again.  I slept OK, but not great.  Got up early and it was off to get returns and a quick trip to Costco.  I came home, did some laundry, enjoyed the race and got the billing straight for today.

On the books for today is a usual Monday...almost.  I am working until 1 then I have to leave for an appointment.  After that I will finish the billing and hopefully get home in time to get dinner fixed instead of buying take out.  I would really like to relax a bit before bed.

I have been doing a lot of praying for friends and family lately and will continue to lift my troubles to Him.  Prayers will continue, for sure.

Hope you have the best possible Monday that you can!

Love you much!

Good morning sushine, I am so glad you are feeling better, I will continue to pray for ya and your girls. I went shoping and I bought my first pair of jeans ever, went for coffee and met Tammy and had good conversation with the ladies. Enjoyed the rest of the evening with hubby. My neighbor brought over some supper for us which was very good., then the grandchildren came and off to be we went.

I'm glad you're past the cruddy stuff, Katters. We had a very busy weekend as usual.

Friday, worked until 5:00, drove home and snatched up Reg & B and went to the Halloween Store before I dropped B off at Camp at 6:30, went to Starbucks til we drove to my Friday night meeting at 7:30, left there at 9:30 to go to No Frill for dinner with the gang. Got home after 11pm. Love gettin up at 5:30am for work and getting home at 11, gah!

Saturday, got up and tried to eat some breakfas****ched Clemson get beat from noon til 3. Took B to rent a movie, get lunch, and some stuff to make for the BBQ on Sunday. Relaxed for 2 hours before we had to go to the 7 o'clock meeting. After that, we drove straight to Shorebreak to eat dinner and watch UFC. After a bunch of confusion, we found out it was the free night, so we ate and left to watch the cards at home by 10. I fell asleep at 11, I was exhausted.

Sunday, got up at 7:30 to get ready for our charity walk for ALS. Drove down to 34th Street for registration and breakfast at 9:00. B broke his headphones, so we walked to the 31st Rite Aid and got him a new pair then spent 30 minutes in that Starbucks getting one coffee, haha. I'm dedicated. We started the walk at 11:00. Took us an hour to walk 4.2 miles, maneuvering in and out for a great cause. See blog on Xanga or MySpace for details. After we walked back from 6th Street, we went home, I made pasta salad for the BBQ. Went to the BBQ at 1:00, watched football til 4:00, went grocery shopping, watched more football until bedtime, and crashed out at 11:00ish.

Yeah, looooooooooong fun filled weekend. Reg left for the week and I'm bummed :(

Good Afternoon, Kit,
Love your new pic Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Sounds like you had a virus. Sending warm wishes your way to a full recovery.
The weekend was quiet...working on exercises. Called family and friends. Learned how to play Suduko and made some greeting cards to send. Love using embellishments to make cards.
This morning the nurse and Physical Therapist came by. Have to work on bending the knee while sitting. Got to keep the knee moving to prevent scar tissue and additional surgery.
Enjoy the most that life brings.
   Peace,
   Cindy
