VA Weight Loss Surgery Center Support Group 10/2 @ 6:30pm
Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that Virginia Weight Loss Surgery Center (Bluepoint Surgical Group) will be having our support group Thursday October 2nd at 6:30pm in the Hylton Education Center at Potomac Hospital.
This months group will feature a guest speaker, Joe Orenstein, MSW, LCSW-C. Joe is AMAZING and has worked with many of our patients both pre and post surgery dealing with personal strengths, weaknesses and how they contribute to obesity and keeping the weight off. He offers group and individual counseling specializing in this topic and will soon be holding sessions in our office!!!!!! Joe also spoke at our recent weight loss/ healthy living expo, and don't worry it is not going to be the same material!
This is really going to be a great meeting, and I hope as many of you can make it as possible. If you can not be there right at 6:30pm or you can not stay the whole time, come whenever you can. For those of you who have never been to a meeting, PLEASE I really do feel this will be so beneficial to all of you. No matter where you are in the process. For you long term folks, you all need this just as much as the newbies. Anyone, who has had/ have a weight issue will benefit from Thursday night! Myself included!
