What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???
Good Morning, Fitness Fanatics......
It's a brand new day, a brand new month and full of brand new opportunities. The heat will be a bit up today, so make sure that you are properly hydrated.
So...what are YOU doing to move today???
Me? Well, yesterday, I did 1/2 of a spin class and then intervals on the ellipticle. Muscles were still a bit sore from the day before. Today is run day. I plan to do an easy 4 miles on treadmill and then some weight work. Gotta get back to the weights.
I may even take the Bodyflow class tonight to relax.
Enjoy your day and have fun moving!!!!

So I run like a Girl....now keep up!
I am in the process of trying to get up to run before going to work in the mornings. No success yet but the last two mornings have been close. I have to do something different as I am in a real quandry over getting a daily run in. I got work an hour early yesterday to get my glasses fixed asnd went home thinking I could get my grass cut and a run in before dark. I got some dinner (PB and honey on wheat) and finished my yard at 8:10 in the dark. I was bummed.
I use to run at night but got to where running later than 8/finishing at 9 or 10 p.m. caused me to be up till 2 a.m. before I can get to sleep. And that doesn't work too well.
Also, most organized runs are Saturday mornings at 8 a.m or so,..so its probably best to develop a habit of morning runs, like they do in the military I work around every day,....0600 PT and company runs. These folks are incredible, sick but incredible.
Runners World sports many of its articles on runners trying to or taking it to the next level as early morning runners to get it into their daily schedules. It seems my destiny if I am to continue my quest to get leaner, and to go farther faster. It really means too,...going to bed at a descent hour so I can get up. Theres a real snag in my routine! SO much discipline!!!! I thought "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" was an old children's rythme. Seems there could be something to it.
Goal is to get a short run in sometime during this evening and maybe a little golf even if its just the driving range (I play competition 9 holes on Thursday evenings).
Have a Great Wednesday everyone. Glad you are recovered Jill. You sure know how to make a race exciting!!
