Doing better today so far...and some ramblings...

I am doing better today and as the day went on it got better.  I stayed away from foods until that night.  I pushed through the urges to vomit after dry heaving a couple more times.  I had class last night and bought a hudge Dasni water and drank it all during the 2 1/2 hours class.  That was about 33oz.  I felt like a water log leaving but I knew I needed those fluids.  Never heard back from brittnay, but i think she had a nutrition class yesterday afternoon.

A lot of people say they don't see the weight loss.  Boy, I have.  But then I went into this refusing to see the "fat girl" in the mirror, so I always saw myself as not being as big in my mind.  I used to never wear jackets because they felt very tight and restrictive through the back shoulders and arms.  I put on this old jean jackets today and it is fitting great.  I can move freely through it.  I am wearing it since it is cold in my office.  I don't know if you rememeber the trench coats I posted about a while ago. It fits perfect now!!  I can button it all the way down and it is lose.  YEAH!!  What is really weird is I used to want to wear bigger clothes to hide my situation, but now I don't.  I feel it makes me look bigger.  So now I have the delima of having clothes that are to big on me, but not wanting to spend more money on new clothes that I will grow out of.  I do know I am going to go through my closet and get rid of the 4xs that I will not wear again.  If anyone wants them let me know.  There are a lot of blouses for work.

glad to hear you are feeling better today.  :)

I must feel great to put on jackets again and feel comfortable and movile in them.  Even thought you don't want to spend alot of wardrobing when you are dropping sizes, treat yourself to a new shirt and pants every size down or so.  I really made my clothes last in the beginning until people would actually come up to me and say "You shouldn't wear that anymore" - I guess I started to look like a bag lady.  LOL.

I could use some clothes.  Unfortunately I am in a 4x still but down from a 6x being tight. It is wonderful that your day got better. I can pay you for the shipping.  I vomit everyday and know how awful it is. I am so glad that you can wear a jacket again. I cant stand the way my clothes would feel! Heres hoping that your day continues to get better and better!

Melissa:  I am so glad to hear you are doing better.  Your weight loss has been awesome, and you need to take some time to reward yourself by getting something that makes you feel special when you wear it.  It doesn't have to be anything expensive, but something that gives you that "pat on the back" when you put it on.  Keep up the great work!  :)
