My Monday was hectic.  Quite a bit of stuff to catch up at work.  Lots of phone conversations back & forth with parents, syblings, children, etc. chatting about the 1st day of school.  2 of my nephews started kindergarten, their morning was a bit rough, both enjoyed school but claim they are not going back.  My girlies had their 1st day.  Morgan started high school and was terrified (afraid she was going to get lost), she survived no problem with the help of friends, except she missed the bus going home (the bus wasn't were she thought it was going to be) and had to walk home, thank goodness the school is close to their house.  Mackenzie enjoyed her day & then had soccer practice last night, back to the busy schedule we go.  After work I opted out of my gym trip & went to get my nails done instead, needed some me time to soothe my frazzled brain.  Headed home, fixed dinner for my hubby who worked late, then we vegged out & went to bed early.

Today I will hopefully catch up on the rest of my work, start working on personal scheduling for the next few week**** the gym, groceries are needed, dinner, etc. all the while dreaming of the beach.  Have a great one!  Love you much!!

Hey Courtney! Thanks for the prayers. Glad you got through the am/pm yesterday and I know it was tough so prayers for sure coming your way. Hope you accomplish all you want to do today.

Good morning everybody!!  Go****s been such a long time since I visited this thread.  I've missed you all so much.

If you haven't picked up on it yet, I'm feeling better...at least head-wise.  I had an awesome weekend thanks to the love & support of Christina & my BFF, Mickie, who both came to see me & spent the night.  Saturday was all about US girls...we had pedis, we made dinner, Matt hooked up my karaoke machine & we sang the night away!  So much fun.  Sunday was more on a "deeper" level, each of us taking turns at playing armchair shrink for each other.  I also took them to my new home-away-from-home, my Mexican restaurant.  So thank you my darlings, for pulling me outta the deep hole.

I'm still feeling puny physically, but I'm expecting that to improve later this week when I see the cardio again.

This weekend I'm actually gonna go to the farm for the first time in a couple of months.  It's our anniversary on Friday & unbeknownst to Mike I am planning on creating a little love nest in the woods...big comfy blanket, some pillows, portable radio hidden in the bushes for some soft music, a picnic basket full of goodies.  It's been a long time since we played Woodsmen & faerie...lol.  Of course my luck, some hiker will come along while I"m trying to get jiggy wit it!  Anyway, I also intend to ride my horse!!  And not just in the round pen either.  Plus, I haven't seen my friends in such a long time...I think I'm even in the right mood to spend time with Lynnie...lol!

Ok...update...I just got off the phone with my cardio's office...my appt has been moved from Thursday to TOMORROW!!!  So I will have a few days to adjust to the new "tweaking"....yayyyyyy!!  Ahhhh life is good.

Ok, I'm off for some much needed grocery shopping.  And btw Kat...let me throw in my congrats on your sobriety accomplishment too.  I'm very proud of you.  Hugs to all...I love you!!

  Greetings from Buffalo, New York. Visiting friends and family for a few days. It is so nice to get away and relax for awhile. The weather is perfect. On Friday, going to a wedding!!
