HAPPY HALF WAY DAY YA'LL!!!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your Tuesday? Ours was all right. Trying to get things accomplished in the next few weeks before Kayla goes back to school. Got a lot of work stuff out of the way so I could relax. Got chores done for the most part and the one room that's a disaster is the living room. We created forts with kitchen chairs and used tons of blankets for "privacy."

What's on the books for your Wednesday? Lots of work to get done, chores galore, getting things straight for the next few days since I'll be out and about and working on some emotional times. Lots of big dates this week and me trying to get them to register as happy ones. Hope everyone enjoys their day and says some prayers for folks in Fay's path.

Hugs and all that jazz.

Good morning Kat,
My Tuesday was good I visited my friend Maria and her sons for the afternoon, then went back to my son's house and had a nice dinner and quality time with him.
Today I am going to do some cleaning around my son's house then head over to where I use to work and hang out, come back to my son's house and cook dinner then around 8 pm I will be heading back to Newport News, Va which is about a 4 1/2 hours. Keep me in your prayers as I travel on down the highway.
Lots of blessings from above,

Good morning, beautiful.  I am on my way to training but wanted to stop in and say "hey".  Tuesday was jam packed.  Work, Kara to the doctor, laundry and cleaning.  Tonight is more cleaning since I want to/need to steam clean my carpets and there is still more laundry (go figure!)  I'll be in training for the next six weeks so my schedule will be off.  Tonight is also a trip to Costco.  Looking forward to Friday PM and Saturday.  Can you guess why???  Well, I am off to the training room.  Will miss you all!

Happy Humpity Hump Day to you !!!

Tuesday was great.  My running class was fantastic, I ran 2 miles with out stopping (I'be been training using a run/walk method) so it's nice to see me get stronger! I love my RNY!
Work is hectic as we prepare for the closing of the EDS/HP merger.

Today, dishes, laundry, dinner and an ellipitcal work out or laps, I haven't decided yet.  Getting to bed early though tonight as I am saaaaaleeeeepy today.  I stayed up way too late watching Sean Johnson finally get her gold in the balance beam.

Have a wonderful day Kat!

Good morning Kat! Glad you got alot done yesterday. It always feels great to accomplish so much. And I hope the buggas had fun with the fort! Can you believe that 2 weeks from yesterday, the kids go back to school?!?!

Yesterday was a blah day. Went to the dr for this nagging cough/cold thing, which turned out to be my 4th sinus infection of the year. He switched antibiotics and gave me some pain meds for it but I don't think he was pleased with my uncompromising attitude. He wanted to put me on Prednisone and of course, it makes 1 gain weight so my immediate response was.... "Ummmm NO! that is NOT an option!!!" We will take the medicines he gave and see how they progress. Good news is that I have lost more weight. Like 5 lbs in 4 days. So I was happy with that. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary took place!

Today, Cameron has his 8th yr check up. I'm way late but his 8th birthday was 2 weeks after surgery so I had all my appointments and just forgot. Bad mommy! He isn't looking forward to it because he overheard me saying he has to get a shot. He is such his mommy in that he worries about EVERYTHING. After that, maybe I will take him to McDonalds to play. Nothing makes up for things better than a chicken nugget happy meal, especially since they have Star Wars toys in them. Of course, as always, there is laundry and cleaning. YAY!!

Hope you and the buggas have a great day! I can not wait for the next couple of weekends so definitely a picnic is in order!!! Take care!

Hi everyone!!

I finally remembered to pop on the boards and say hello today!  Lately I've barely even been able to get on the computer and when I do it's so late at night, I'm just doing a quick check of my e-mail and then back off.  Today I'm taking it a bit easier.  I've got a headache from Hades.  My darling hubby told me last Wednesday that I ALWAYS have a headache on Wednesdays.  When I thought about it, I realized he is right.  What's really funny is, I hurt all day long, think about NOT going to church, but then realize I don't want to back out of playing keyboards at the service so I go to church anyway....and about halfway thru the service, my headache is G-O-N-E!  Praying the same thing happens today as I've got a worse headache than usual...

Things around here have been super busy.  Doctor's appts, having my labs drawn, immunizations for kids, NJROTC stuff, shopping, having the battery die on my van, more shopping, cooking, cleaning, more shopping.... It's just been never ending.  Still need to get the kids into the dentist, but have a feeling everyone else is trying to do the same and I won't be able to get an appt before school starts.

BTW, am I the only one counting down the days till school starts?  I'm seriously looking forward to the routine being back in place and my life getting back to normal.  This summer and NO routine has been making me crazy.  The only nice thing has been being able to sleep in.  :)

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!

Good PM Kat woman, I already talked to you but wanted to say happy 1/2 week to you as well. Today was a lazy day but work tomorrow for sure and meeting on Fri and another field trip on Sat. I think my next week will be a little saner before school starts here on the 2nd of Sept then I'll be super busy driving all the school kids to school , well for at least 3 schools anyway. You got that right about the big dates this week so let's get in the mood of things and be bubbly for whatever comes...HUgs, Jim

Good Evening to all...
Yesterday was very stressful with a staff person yelling at me in front of the clients. With composure, I quietly reminded her what she was doing. Then I cried, and needed to as these past 2 weeks were emotionally driven with a recent death at thegroup home. Today I was determined to bring some peace to the group home, and succeeded. Spoke quietly and gently with everyone. Went about my day with head held high.
With one more day of work before going on a 10 day vacation, there is peace in the valley.  Cindy
