Lexi update for the evening
Well they got her transferred to Fairfax hospital. Apparently it was the nurse who originally said that her sugars were okay but the doctor said no, for one that little (she is only 3), who had been sleeping all night it was too high (although not super high). When they tested it the second time it has dropped real low so they gave her some sugar in her iv & something to eat & then it spiked again. She was lethargic because of being dehydrated. They sent her to Fairfax because of the great programs they have there. The Endocronologist she saw tonight said he doesn't want rush into insulin treatment, he wants to keep an eye on her for a day or two and see what happens, run some tests. He said there have been some weird "stress" situations that have caused sugar issues with little ones.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers, thoughts, love & concern. So glad to have a family like you guys!! After a slightly stressful evening I am headed off to bed.

Court, while I haven't said a whole lot HERE (been rather occupied myself) I have been most interested in this situation. Dear Lexi -- I do pray she will be fine. I know she will -- she is in good hands.
I just wanted you to know that I HAVE been praying not only for her, but more specifically for the doctors and caregivers, that they would have wisdom and insight. I have been praying for her family that they would have peace and comfort. Lexi, as are all of us, is in God's hands, and this is a GOOD thing!
And for YOU Ms Court -- I am thanking God Lexi has you to love her and care enough for her to solicite others to intercede on her behalf.
Blessings ....
