Good Morning Fitness Fanatics......

Well...I did not make it to class yesterday - I did do the ellipticle.  Why not?  Because I was busy working on my routine.  Ok...so technically...I DID make it to class - haha.

So...what are YOU doing to move today???

Me?  I woke up with a headache, so I won't make it to the 1st class, but will be heading out in a bit for the second class.  Then, I'm coming home and working on my routine.

Missing class?  Better be careful...don't wanna tick off the teacher.  Oh wait...YOU are the teacher! hahahaha!!!

I'm afraid I won't be doing much today.  My PCP tried out yet another statin on me (Crestor) & as usual the nasty muscle cramp side-affect reared it's ugly head.  So I had a misserable night with little sleep.  Just not feeling "right".  I think my ticker's tired which makes the rest of me tired so this is gonna be one of those "off" days.  But that's ok...when I can't keep the body busy, I can at least keep my hands & brain busy.  I have $300 worth of wedding flowers to play with plus I bought a new knitting book yesterday that is supposed to teach me how to knit two sox at the same time on the same needles.  THAT should be interesting!  An extra plus is that Christina will be here sometime this morning.  Tomorrow is Nino's birthday so my gift to him from me & Mike is to finance a hopefully enjoyable trip to the drive-in theater for him & Christina.  Neither of them have ever been to a drive-in & I thought this would be a unique opportunity.

Ok, I'm off to eat some breakfast & then dig into these lovely flowers.  I'm making a mock-up of a bridesmaid bouquet & a 3-ft tall centerpiece.

Have a terrific day & good luck with the routine.  I know it will be wonderful.  I love you bunches!!

I am about to go shave my legs so I can wear the shorts I got yesterday for working out and head out to the gym.  I will do 30-45 minutes on the treadmill the do some work on my legs with weights.  We are also going to KD today, so more walking there. 

I am a little concearned though.  Even though I felt great about the work out, while I was consuming my protien drink I started feeling moody.  I got snappy and mean.  Of course, once I ate, I felt fine.  So I am just wandering how to handle my workout and food intake.

I just wanted to tell you that I am really proud of you.  You have really taken advantage of the opportunity you have been given.  KUDOS!

Ok...food and liquid are tough - even for the experienced like many of us.......

I drink while working and I eat something - a granola bar, a protein bar, a piece of fruit - after working out and something even in between workout (depending on how many I do and what I am doing).  Do I wait the full 30 minutes?  No...I'd pass out.  I get off of the treadmill, cool down, stretch and eat something.  And I'm sweating out as much as I am getting in....

So...just do your best when it comes to this area.

Thank you Jill!  I tried uping my calorie intake slightly yesterday and uped my water intake.  I drank 96 oz yesterday!!! I also uped my protien intake by an additional 26 grams.  Bringing me up to about 76-85g by supplementation.  The one thing I am having problem still with is the headache.  I am still getting a headache after working out. I am going to check with my Nutritonist about it.
