It's Leaving Me ..

First let me say the outpouring of emails and calls have been awesome . You all are truly the best support !! My entire day yesterday was spent with a smile on my face .
I did go back to the doctor and they are working on finding out what is wrong with me . I am also going to be treating the depression, but with some breathing techniques until they can determine what is wrong with my cortisol levels .

I am also Vitamin D Deficient . I do suppliment daily , but the Doctor says I am not absorbing it . He thinks may have some disorder called Hyper Kidney Displasia .. This is where the excess calcium should be absorbed but it is not and it backs up into my kidney. He is not sure yet , but will keep running test to find out why so many kidney stones and why so big .

The fluid is leaving me . 5 pounds gone this morning . Thank God . I still look very swollen , my ankles are now called cankles ... LOL .. My thighs look like .. well let's just say HUGE .. But he told me yesterday it will take about a week for it all to come off . He is really mad the doctor at the hosptial that gave me the cortisol . She gave me 3 x the normal dosage . He said this is what has caused the fluid.  The drug is in the same catagory as Prednisone , so if you have ever taken this then you know how you can swell on it . Terrible I say .

I just want to thank you all again for your encouragement and your enlightment .
What in the world would we do with out each other .

Tink sorry you are going thought so much but you are doing something to correct it and keep up the good work. During this time remember to drink, drink that will help with the swelling believe it or not. The drinking will help flush the body and the kidneys.

You are the second person today that has told me to drink ,. and drinking I am .. Thanks for your encourangment .. it means so much .

We are so blessed by your presence and love here on the boards and for those of us privileged to have met in IRL. Continue to heal well, sweet lady, and I am praying for you.

I hope you spend today with a smile on your face from ear to ear. Why? Because you're alive, feeling better, the water weight is drifting away and the docs will be in touch. Its a new day with new hope and blessings to cherish. Laugh some, smile a lot, do something for yourself and remember that when you're in the deepest darkest pit of depression, you are NEVER alone. Even after a storm there is a rainbow you just have to "see" it.

I pray that they find out what's causing things to go haywire. I pray that you continue to find the strength and determination to forge ahead and leave these issues in the dust. Depression is nasty that's for sure but there are so many others that are worse off than you are right now and remind yourself of how blessed you are and for the lessons you're learning. Passing along your experiences on your journey is shedding light on issues that will help others. By telling your story and sharing your ups and downs you never know just who's life, heart and soul you're touching; but God does.

Thank you sweet lady ... I really needed to hear this as well today . I never knew how bad it could get and how alone one could feel with this .
I am smiling today .. for so many reasons .

Hopefully I will get answers soon , but I know to pray for strenght and for patience...

Glad that you are doing better!  Sounds liek your Dr. is right on the ball & working hard to figure your body out!  Hoping that the answer comes soon. 

Oh Tink.  I hope they can resolve what is going on with you!  You are such a beutiful person through and through.  You inspire me with your posts.  My prayers are with you.

You are finally sounding back to your old self and I am proud of you!  Drinkl lots of water and walk as much as you can.  It will help and you remain in my paryers.  Can you and Alan come to the meet and greet on Sunday?  You can bring the grandbabies if you want to...it's a family thing!
