Does this make me selfish???
I know I don't consider myself selfish, and I didn't have any comorbidities. I just wanted to be healthy, and everyone deserves a shot at that. WLS was the best option for me at the time and that's what I chose.
I highly doubt I would have traveled to Mexico, Italy, England and Amsterdam during college had I still been obese. It's not selfish to want to experience life.
