SO THAT SEEMS TO RUNNING RIGHT AROUND SIX MONTHS.THANKS..THAT ATLEAST GIVES ME A WINDOW GAGE THE TIME IM LOOKING AT..I WENT TO THE APRIL 10TH ORENTATION..SO IM LOOKING AT AROUND OCTOBER...I AM BOUT TO BUST I CANT WAIT!!! I WANT IT DONE ALREADY......JUST BROKE UP WITH MY MAN..I AM READY TO GET THIS WEIGHT OFF OF ME AND MOVE ON..CARRYING ALL THIS WEIGHT IS FAIRLY NEW FOR ME.....I STARTED TAKING ZOLOFT(FOR DEPRESSION) AND BLEW UP! I BEEN LOSING AND REGAINING THE SAME WEIGHT AND IM TIRED OF IT PLUS MY BODY CANT HANDLE ALL THIS WEIGHT..I DIDNT GROW UP OVER WEIGHT...I ACTUALLY GREW UP UNDER WEIGHT AS A KID...JUST AT NORMAL AS A TEEN..NORMAL AS AN ADULT..GAINED ALMOST 100 POUND PREGGO WITH MY ONE AND ONLY CHILD..LOST THE WEIGHT MAINTAINED FOR SEVERAL YEARS UNTIL I START TAKING THAT DAMN ZOLOFT! NOW SEEMS LIKE I CANT SHAKE THE WEIGHT...ITS STICKING IN A DIFFERENT WAY THAN EVER B4..I CAN FEEL MY BODY BREAKING DOWN FROM THIS AMOUNT OF WEIGHT...I HATE BEING HEAVY.. BREATHING IS HARD..SWEATING BULLETS....KNEES HURTING..BACK HURTING..I AM MISERABLE...I GOTTA GET MY HEALTH BACK AND SOON! LORD PLEASE LET ME GET A CALL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
i got on the list at the end of december 07 and will have surgery sep 4th 08. so my wait was 8-9 months and would have been a month or two shorter had i not been so anemic. i'm on antidepressants as well, so i understand about the added weight gain. pray about it. if you know in your heart that waiting on this another 6 - 8 months is not the answer - then standard out. talk to other people with similar health problems (depression, high blood pressure, anemia) to ensure that these issues will not hold you up. good luck - mel

You should be taking a mulitvititamin w/iron.
One of the biggest things to do is change your behaviors prior to surgery. Cut out soda, drinking with a straw, drinking with meals. Start a food log..sparkpeople.com or fitday.com are good sites.
