Bowel Update!
Hola, my lovely VA friends.
As you can probably tell, I'm feeling much better!
I got aggressive on the home remedies on Saturday and followed through on Sunday and it worked. I'll never look at corn the same, haha. Sorry, but that's how I tested it. However, I don't feel that much lighter, nor does the scale agree. I do feel less blown up though and the back pain is gone, yay.
I am going to make an appointment with the guy who does the Gastric portion at my RNY surgeon's office. The 3 of them all work very closely together. I'm through the hard part, but I definitely want to make sure that its not scarring and that it was an isolated incident. My body is known to scar though, hence the reason I had to have one fallopian tube tied and the other was removed.

Although I do want to add, I had a flashback from H-E-Double Hockeysticks last night. After doing something recreation, that I won't get specific on, my stomach contracted and hurt like crazy. I remembered the feeling, but couldn't place it...then I stood up to go to the bathroom and a shot of pain rang to my right shoulder and it hit me. It was the same thing after I had surgery. The devil gas. I didn't want to ever feel that again. Grr. It took about 15 minutes, but it subsided. I tried one of those cinnamon gas-ex thin strips and it helped. They don't taste that bad. Made me want to chew gum. Haha.

Hey hun, I am sooooo glad you are feeling better. That means I will get to see you Wednesday. I can't wait to see you again. I have to go to the PS surgeon tonight. I have a small spot on my arm that is infected. It looks much better than it did Saturday when we found it. Take care, call the surgeons office and have a great day. Luv Ya

Amber, that's great news. Isn't it funny how we take such "things" for granted until they stop working? LOL Don't forget to butter yer corn! LOL
