Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your Tuesday? Ours was busy, jam packed and tiring. Things went well really. On our way back from my appointment dad & I stopped off at Panera Bread and he had their chili. Folks my dad ate the WHOLE bowl of it! For those who don't know he has WLS 6 month after me and I can't get the man to eat much of anything. He loved it and said NO MORE WENDYS CHILI for me! I am so happy and I was thinking I should have tried it but I got a greek salad with chicken on top. It was nice to spend the day with Dad. :) Got home and the buggas were stoked to see me. Then off to Vacation Bible School for night 3. They had a really good time and when they got home I gave them about 20 minutes to simmer down cause Momma was OUT! Yep, I got them to bed and fell asleep asap (as did they).

What's on the books for your Wednesday? Prayers please as Kayla returns to the doctor this am to start her treatments. I'm seriously a nervous momma! But, I know that God will see us through this and we are doing the best things for her. After her appiontment I'm going to get her home, let her rest while I clean house and enlist Nora's help so she doesn't bug her sissio. I need to get out and about and get a few things done so I'm going to get my list together now.

Hope everyone enjoys their Wednesday!
Hugs & love ....

Good Morning, Sunshine!

Sorry to be away this week.  i was having a heck of a time logging in.  Not sure what the problem was, but it was VERY frustrating.....

So....what's up for today?  Not much.  Patrick has gone to San Diego, so it is just me and the dogs at the house.  It will be too quiet for the next 2 weeks........

No workout for today.  My back is really bothering me and causing my sciatic nerve to flare up.  I think I need an adjustment, because it feels like my hips are out of alignment - the outside of my knees ache and my hip flexors are really tight.

Really ticks me off, because it is impacting my running, and I know that it is this damned chair at work that is causing all of this.  And my new boss said that I cannot have a different chair - watch me!

Not realy happy here at the new job, but making it through.  At least it's closer.....

Poor Kayla....hope she gets to feeling better.  Just relax.......

Enjoy your day and HAPPY WEDNESDAY to ya!

Hey Girl! I am glad that you had a great time with your dad yesterday. Spending time with my dad (alone) is something I don't do but something I think we should start doing, however, we do alot of family things together now more than we used too.

Not much happened yesterday. Went to the gym! First time in a bunch of days. I think I over did it but it feels good to hurt and have a reason. I am really trying to get better at this entire motivation thing and hopefully me being deligent every day for the next 10 days will show when I go to my surgeons 3 month appointment on the 25th. Maybe that will be all the motivation I need to say "hey, this does work, and I'll keep going".

Sarah is coming over in a few minutes and we are having a video game day. We are going to have fun beating each other, or trying too, on the WII and then Cameron plans on rocking out and kicking both our butts in Guitar Hero. Of course, he says after he gives Sarah her lessons. Then I think we may go to McDonalds, although she can't eat there so we will take our own food and he can play.

Prayers are definitely going out to Kayla. If you need anything or need to vent, give me a call. Have a great Wednesday and please let us know how Kayla is doing.

You have a wii?  I need a play date too.  I would really like to see if I like it.  Everyone at work is raving about "working out" while playing video games.  I'm not into the hype much myself unless I can actually try it out.  Keep me in mind.  :)

How's Cameron's ears doing?  Once he's doing better, we can all go swimming at the Am Fam.  I have to get in as much as I can, because we are considering cancelling once the membership comes up for renwal.  We will need to decide by the third week of August.  With my work schedule, I'm just not going and can't see to keep having the $70/mo sucked out of my account every month.  We'll see...

Hijack Lauren...you might want to check out the Y...their monthly costs are much cheaper and there's no contract and the membership goes month-to-month. We pay $55 a month for a family...mind, that's with a corporate discount (they offer discounts for every friggin' thing imaginable and they will work with anyone to make it affordable) and we got the membership where we can use all of the clubs...but it is a heckuva deal.

Good morning beautiful.  Things are good on this side for a change.  Yesterday was good.  I worked three hours of overtime yesterday and plan on doing much of the same today.  Kara came home last night and was in a tizzy.  She missed Adam and I would not let her stay outside past 10 last night.  They like to sit on the patio and listen to music.  I can keep a good eye on them there, too!  Steve started to move some cabinets in the kitchen.  We got a new fridge and it is quite a bit larger than the old one.  I am stoked to have it though cause it is a side by side with ice and water maker in the door.  The one we have now is a lot smaller.  I am eager to have the extra freezer space, too.  Steve should have everything done by the weekend and in the house it will come.  It is not new..but new to us.  It was my uncles and he had just gotten it about a month ago.
On the books for today is nothing special.  I'll be at work till 7 or 8 tonight and then home to fix a quick dinner, do some laundry and catch up some more with Kara.   I need to cut the grass but that may wait until the weekend.  I need to work the overtime while I can, so we will see.
I hope all goes well with Kayla.  Let me know if you need anything.  Glad you enjoyed your time with your dad yesterday.  Those times are important to us all.

huggles,
Tammy

Are you doing a kitchen remodel?  How exciting!  We love those bottom drawer freezer models of fridges but they are SO expensive, especially in the stainless steel finish like I want.  A new fridge is LOW on the totem pole list of needs right now, but maybe one day.  :)

Hey Lauren,

Nope, not a full kitchen remodel.  We did that about 5 years ago.  When my uncle passed he had just gotten a new fridge and noone needed it...but me!  Our has been "leaking" for  over a year and a half now but there has not been any money in the budget for a new one.  We bought a used one from craigslist and then ours stopped leaking so we put that one in the garage for drinks, etc.  Then when the current one started leaking again...this one stopped working!  We picked up this one and it is larger than the current one so Steve just needs to rearrange the cabinets (shift them over) and cut the counter top.  We need about 4 and 1/2 inches more room.  I love the bottom drawer freezer ones, too but they are outrageous.  I am very happy with this one!  You can tell how low the new one is on our totem pole...almost two years needing a new one?  The old one works and I just put a "wet rug" in fron and it is fine.  I change it three times daily so I am really looking forward to not doing that anymore!

Much love and prayers coming your way for Kayla's treatments that start today.  :)

Great to hear your dad had a good appetite for that chili.  :)

Nothing but work on the books for me today.  It will be another late night.  Sigh...  But it is what it is.

Have a great rest of the day.

Lauren
