2 week dr. visit

I went in for my 2-week follow up appointment today (1 day early, but who's counting?) and I could NOT be more thrilled! I've avoided the scales, but in the two weeks since surgery I've lost 20 pounds, which completely blows my mind. That brings my total loss to date to 47 pounds.

Even more exciting was that he said I was healing well and cleared me to do basically whatever I want - swim, go to the gym, travel, even do weights! AND I get to move to mushy foods. I'm on my way to scramble an egg right now and am super, super excited about it

So at the moment my biggest challenge is controlling my excitement and not doing too much, too fast. But I'm feeling really good. After my scrambled egg, I'm going back to the gym and then this afternoon I think I'll do one of my favorite things - go sit in the pool and read my book. Yay!

Woohoo!!  Congrats on the wieght loss!  That is wonderful!!  Scrambled eggs with cheese was my first meal too! LOL.  Be careful on the weight, no more the 10lbs.  You are still healing inside. Go get your work out on!!

Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new avatar! You are doing more than awesome. I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished.

Now that you are cleared to exercise, we need to schedule our play dates for the rest of the summer. We can take turns meeting at our gyms, lol.

And yep, we are still on for tomorrow. We can play the WII and Cameron is looking forward to teaching you how to play guitar hero. Call me later to figure out what time.

Again, I am sooooo tickled proud of you! Love ya!

Fabulous news Sarah!  Great job!!!!   Keep it up!  As the others said, take it slow both with your food & at the gym.
