Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your Friday & weekend? Ours was over the top for sure. From beginning to end things sucked then got so much better. I am truly loved and blessed and I am so thankful/grateful for much. The buggas started Vacation Bible School last pm and had a blast!! I'm very excited for them! I got in some great convos this weekend which have changed my view on things. I managed to watch some classic movies (in my opinion) as I was throwing myself the kewlest party. Steel Magnolias, Rumor Has It, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, Devil Wears Prada and Shall We Dance. I slept pretty decent last pm so that's a good thing in my book.

What's on the books for your Monday? I hope it to be a low key as the weekend was anything but. I've nearly lost my voice; it comes and goes and I'm feeling a little weird so I'm going to feed my throat warm yummy helpful things. Otherwise, I'm going to seriously veg and relax until the buggas go to VBS then I'm going to get some things done around the house.

Hope everyone has a GREAT Monday!

The cymbalta they said would take the appetite away and you aint kiddin, so Im gonna have to make myself eat again. There is just a whole lot of  garb going on trying to deal with you know how that goes right. Glad you got threw the weekend and that Rumor has it movie was a good movie. Hey! Yeah I am GLAD its raining (again) and have had a decent morning so far. I got a nice visit this am, shared a cuppa, am watching Ya Ya again and now catching up on some messages. No biting heads off that could leave a mess and yucky clean up. The other is Must Love Dogs! I LOVE that movie too! I am using music & movies to get through things. Funny how so many reflect much of what I'm facing. I gotta say I'm thankful for a long memory and soft heart. Love ya!

I can't believe the weekend is gone already! Saturday was spent running around. A trip to BJ's, Walmart, and Bed Bath and Beyond. While dear daughter worked, Leo and I went shopping to get bedding and such that she will need for college. Just about a month from now we will be driving her to Univ. of Tampa.

Early AM Sunday,  hubs and I went to the beach. There was a beautiful breeze coming off the ocean and the water is warm. We were entertained by little ones around us--riding boogie boards, making sand castles, digging in the sand. Saw the cutest little boy on his first trip to the beach. He was with his parents and grandparents. It was evident this was the first child//grandchild. The video cam was rolling and smiles were abundant.

Steel Magnolia is my all time fav chick flick.

Not sure what is on the books today. For now I gotta walk the dogs.

Have a blessed day!

Morning Kat & All.  Our weekend was busy but productive.  On Friday night, we went to a Fairfax park for a free Jazz concert (one of the great things about living in NoVA)  Saturday, my husbanf and I worked in the yard -planting some bushes and doing some weeding.  After Church yesterday, we had a picnic and relaxed.  Last night, we went out to Vienna, VA to a Turkish restaurant with some friends.

This week, I am back to (too slowly my husband says) sorting and packing.  We actually plan to move to our house in Florida if I can ever get it all packed.

Morning Beautiful!  My weekend was low key & enjoyable for the most part.  The only downer, my teenagers have decided they don't like sleep, which is not good for me who likes it very much.  Spent all weekend getting up several times in the night to tell them to quiet down & get into bed.  Did get a bit of revenge yesterday a.m.   as I got up & started cleaning & blasted some nice classic country music through out the house as an alarm clock for the sleepy heads.  Not too much on the plate for today, work & then my local support group meeting so I will be tied up all day.  Hope you have a great one!  Love you much!!!

Good mornin', beautiful.  Welcome to manic Monday!  The weekend was pretty good.  We went to my uncle's on Saturday to clean, sort and pack.  Got it almost all done and feel grateful.  Just a little more to do today and it should be all complete.  We went back Sunday to pick up the last items in his tool shed so that hopefully we can sell them to pay on his funeral bill.  Today started off on the wrong foot.  I got Steve up at 12 to go to work...and all was fine until my cell phone rang at 3 AM.  Scared the s^%# out of me!  He said "Oh sorry, I dialed the wrong number!"  He was meaning to call the DC Manager to find out where the papers were.  Turns out the press broke down and they didn't get there until 4 AM.  This of course messed my AM all up since I couldn't do the billing until he got home.  So now I have to go when I get off at 5 and do it all this evening.  It will be a late one for sure!  I did get some good sleep in even though I woke up several times during the night.  So that's my day in a nutshell...work and more work!  Tomorrow is our last "free" night as Kara will be home on Wednesday.  I'm planning to cook her favorite meal with a little of my favorite thing in there, too.  I am craving some steamed squash and I brought some fresh from the garden home this weekend so I will steam it up Wednesday to go with dinner unless I can't wait...then I'll do it tomorrow!  Miss you much!

Love ya,

Tam

Good morning, Lovie!!  Let's see...Saturday we all went to a bbq at my hana'i son's house so I didn't have to cook.  Sunday I spent the day in front of the TV with Mike...he's so bored, not being able to do much of anything.  For a treat, I made teriyaki steak on the grill...mmmm, onolicious!

Today I broke down & called my dentist.  I've been having a lot of discomfort & it turns out it's absessed so I'm on antibiotics all week & have to have a root canal done next Thursday.  In the meantime I'm on happy drugs (left over from my April surgery) & was abe to actually enjoy my dinner.  We had a very nice dinner out on the deck & then Mike & I took a stroll around the yard, hand in hand, just the two of us, enjoying the sunset together.  He's still the best kisser in the whole world.

Tomorrow, or rather later today since it's 420 in the am, Matt & I will get back to work on my craft room.  I think I need a disinterested person to do this job...I want to keep EVERYTHING...LOL.  So I guess I better get a few hours of sleep.  Happy Tuesday everybody!!

Hugs!
Ann
