Dr update on me & update on Cameron

Oh I am so thrilled about the diabetes getting better. I just knew that that's what was going to kill me. And thanks for the well wishes for Cameron. He does seem to be getting better.

Theresa, I am so sorry to hear Cameron has a double ear infection.  Definitely no fun.  I am praying that this round of antibiotics does the trick and he won't need the IV. 

As for you...Wooooooohoooooo that is awesome news about your diabetes.  I am praying it is below the 7!!  Then we can really celebrate.

Hi Anna. Thanks so much for your concern. He has definitely been miserable but does seem to be improving now with the antibiotic ear drops.

Hi Theresa, sorry to hear about Cameron's ear infections, as I know they can be brutal sometimes. Do hope he gets better with the antibiotics. I had diabetes as well and my sugar has been in the 130 range since my surgery about 40 days ago and I quit taking the pills after about 10 days from surgery. I think it is amazing that this surgery can do all that too but I'm so happy for you and the weight will come off, don't worry. Hopes and prayers to you and yours...Jim

Yep, you are right about being born again--it's like we have a new lease on life and I intend to make the most of it for the time I have left. Hope little Cameron is better today as well as you. Take care and hope to see ya soon.. Jim

Poor Cameron - is he still having to stay home from summer camp? Let me know if you want me to come over and play a game with him or something. You know I'd be thrilled to do it! Have you guys played my favorite game Blokus?

Theresa ~ My little man has terrible ear infections too.  My son is only 17 months, but holy cow.... the ear infections have been terrible.  My daughter went through the same thing.  Did the doctor put him on Floxin??  I keep a bottle handy at all times just in case he gets a flare-up.  Good luck and I really hope Cameron is feeling better soonest!
