Anniversary
Well, one year ago today I was in surgery and scared to death. Looking back I should not have been scared but rather excited! At this point I am mostly thankful. The surgery gave me hope and has improved my health tremendously. I started out at 270 and am currently 168. I have gotten rid of about 10 prescription pills each day, no longer need maximum doses of three diabetic meds (plus shots), no longer need bp meds and no longer need cholesterol meds. I don't get winded after walking half a block and don't sweat just thinking about it. I am so so glad I did this!
Now I just need to keep myself on track, which is a daily task. I am one of the "unlucky" ones that does not dump so sweets and bad stuff is something I have to battle with. Anyway, just wanted to stop in and say hello and that I love this tool!

Congratulations on your loss!!
I don't dump either. I DID made a personal committment to NO SUGAR. If I eat more than I should, it is never sugar, and never chips. Watch high fats as well.
I wish I could eat more vegs, but I find myself scrambling to get the protein in, via supplement.
Keep working that tool!! and Good Luck!
Lois
