Hey Susanne, I don't get a chance to post much any more but saw your post and wanted to say Congratulations! I had WLS 10/03/03 and had my baby girl 03/22/06. I can't believe she'll be a year old in just a little over a week. I had a very healthy and uneventful pregnancy and only gained 19 pounds. Check out the post op pregnancy board http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/postop_pregnancy/ . These ladies are wonderful, full of information and extremely supportive. If you have any questions or just want to chat please feel free to email me any time. Also feel free to check out the pictures of my baby girl (Sarah) on my website. The password for all the albums is baby_girl06. Hugs Teresa

CONGRATS to you !!! You are going to experience a pregnancy without being OBESE..imagine that !!! You will feel great !!! Remember, regardless of what well meaning people say, all you have to gain with your pregnancy is baby weight. ( I was a newborn nursery and postpartum nurse for many years !!) But not me..that was a different story. I had lost all my weight by seeing a diet doctor, reached goal, had a tummy tuck, and within a year had a new guy and a baby on the way. I feel off the band wagon and let myself go and gained it ALL back. This story doesn't have to be you !!! ...lol Also you have your "tool" to work with..so no matter what you crave, you can only eat a bite..not the entire store full..hehehe Being pregnant is very exciting and YES this is a wow moment for you !!! Can't wait to meet you at the HR get togethers. Take care of yourself and the little one !!! Big Hugs, Dana

Congrats! That is very exciting news! I had one of those little wows about 8 years ago - at the time my other children were 7 and 6 years old and I though I was finished. I was like you - excited, but in complete shock. It's a wonderful trip - this thing called "life"! Enjoy! . Robin

He is now 3 and a 1/2 and keeps me on my toes!! You have your tool to help you get along this time too - so good luck and congratulations!! Jackie
