In all honesty, when I didn't break 210 after giving up carbs for the week, I got really discouraged. I said **** on it, it will happen when it happens. This morning, it did! 209.5, hehee. It's not down much, but its down! The weird thing is that I ate a couple of bad things yesterday?!?! My body must've been starving for calories or something. I guess I need to call my NUT and find out how many calories I should be taking in. They told me not to worry about that initially and just to worry about Sugar & Fat Grams. It might also have to do with me getting my womanly thang! It came and went! Wahoo. Thanks guys, just thought I would share! Amber

Congrads on breaking the barrier. Maybe this will be the new beginnings of your next weight-loss free fall. I was getting frustrated at 280 to 277 for 3-4 weeks. Then over this last week i have dropped from 277 to 270, like 2 lbs a day. Getting the protein and water seems to really help me. when I don't get them like I should, it seems the weight -loss slows. But the whole process hasd slowed so I gues the honeymoon is over, the tuff pounds are ahead. Thanks for posting your fight. It is encouraging to read about your success and the things your try to get there.

Hey Joe sounds like you are doing a great job. Being just at 6 months out your honeymoon period shouldn't be over yet. At 6 months it does slow some but it isn't over, I found with mine it seemed to be really slow for a few weeks then bam I would drop. During the slow weeks would be when my inches changed. The protein and water are a key factor. Keep up the great work. Courtney
