OMG! Where has the time gone? Seems like I blinked and the month was away from me. So....where to begin...... Well....I broke my stall of 141 and actaully hit 135. Yes....I was SHOCKED! Today, I'm holding at 136, but am playing the up one/down one game. It's all good. I'm in a solid size 6. In fact, I just bought one of those pencil shirts and it's a size 6 and fits like a charm. It's cute for work. I've been working out with a personal trainer. It has its good points and its bad points. Definately not for everyone. Sometimes I find it hard because I went there with a solid workout foundation. But, it's been helpful in giving me new ideas. I signed up for my first 5K run. It's June 2 and I cannot wait. My brother-in-law is going to run it with me. I know I can fini**** as I am running 2.5 miles without problems and add in my walking warm up and cool down and I am at 3.75 miles. Well...hubby is Commissioned tomorrow to Warrant Officer and then leaves for school. UGH! Me and the furbabies for the next 5 weeks alone. Kinda weird to not have little ones around while hubby is gone. Guess there is a first time for everything. Now to find something to occupy my time. Guess that's it. Hope everyone is doing well...... Sounds like you are doing wonderful, Jill. And a 5K run??? Wow, I am impressed! Now that the weather is breaking, I am hoping to get more walking back in. Hugs, Betsy

Okay..let me pick my jaw back up off the floor now !!!! GO JILL !!!!!!!! You are something else. I bet it was switching your workout up, perhaps with the trainer, that broke that plateau. Damn Jill !!! 136????????? WOW is all I can say. You always motivate me. Now you know I could kick yer ass because I want to run a marathon and you are going without me !!!...lol I remember when you said not too long ago that you didn't think you could do one..and look at you now !!! You are awesome !!! Keep on keepin on !!! Love ya !! Dana

Hey Dana! Sorry I couldn't come last night. Mom was not feeling good, so no babysitter was available. Next time though!! Heck, I'll drive over there and we can have dinner together when you feel up to it. Besides, the guy I'm dating lives at the Oceanfront, so I get over there more often now. thinking that a move might be possible. Maybe.... I'm also in the 130's now. I weighed in at 135 this morning. I'm trying to stop losing but I think the trauma from 2 surgeries in 4 months has something to do with it. But no marathins for me. I'm too lazy.

Wow! That is so awesome, Jill! I am really happy for you! I wish you nothing ut the best on your 5K. That is so exciting. I have never done one either, but I plan to as soon as I feel confident that I can - maybe by next fall I'll be able to. It's good to see you on the boards. I've missed your posts - they always make me feel so good about my decision to have this surgery. Thanks for all the inspiration! Hugs, Robin
