anything going on in NOVA?

I know I haven't posted in a while, been so crazy with the surgery, then on valentines day evening, my husband decides to brake his ankle. I was stuck inside with him over the extra long weekend, glad I made it through. Men are the biggest babies, I promise. Just wanted to see if there is anything going on, I would love to finally meet some of the beautiful ladies (& men). ~Moni

Moni- Here is the information for the next support group meeting I know of: Reston Hospital - Classroom C Time: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 7:00 to 8:00 - General Meeting 8:00 to 9:00 - One year out or more Dates (1st Thursday of the month): January 4 March 1 May 3 July 5 September 6 November 1 Inova Loudoun Hospital - Conference Room A Time: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 7:00 to 8:00 - General Meeting 8:00 to 9:00 - One year out or more Dates (2nd Tuesday of the month): February 13 April 10 June 12 August 14 October 9 Meetings will be cancelled due to inclimate weather per Fairfax County policies. Clothes exchanges will be held at all meetings. Friends and family welcome. I can't make it this month (March 1), but I'm sure a few people from here might make it. Of course, you could always organize a get-together. OH...and I think Dianna (Cappymoon) was organizing a Dinner Theater outing sometime in March...might want to check with her. Hope that helps! Hi Moni, We also have Dr Halmi's support meeting at Potomac Hospital on the 1st Thursday of each month - I will miss next week's as I will be in Tampa. Also Sue and I have our Support Group - Obesity Freedom's meeting - tomorrow evening - the 3rd wednesdsay in every month. Then we have Natalie's bachelor party on the 3rd - I can't go to that as I am having my 50yj birthday party that night. Then we have Diana's dinner theater evening on the 10th I believe.... Then another Support Group meeting at the Panera on or around the 3rd Saturday of each month... Still plenty going on up this way lol!! Jackie Jackie

They are held on Stafford/Fredericksburg border just before you cross the bridge to get onto Fredericksburg on Butler Road - actually if you look you will see the announcement for tonights meeting in a post I have just added a few minutes ago. The one in the Panera in in Fairfax Town Center. If you want more details I can link you up to a yahoo board for the Panera or visit our web page www.obesityfreedomforever.com for the Obersity Freedom support group and read our blog - we still need to change the meeting location on the front page but the rest is accurate. Hi Moni, I live in Springfield too, near the INOVA Hospital on the Parkway. There is another woman who lives in Kingstowne near me. We usually ride together to the Fair Oaks meetings.
