I'm Home From Surgery

Hi ladies, I just got home from surgery. I had my buttocks and thigh lift on Wed. Morning. My PS was very pleased with my results and told me I will be tickled pink. I have an incision shaped like a thong from what I can tell. I'm still very swollen. Had lipo too and I think that the lipo hurts worse then anything else. I'm staying as drugged up as possible. My goal is to be a non-functional entity for a few days(lol). I hurt, no sleep and I can't move too much. So, drugged up is the best place to be for me. I did find out one thing with this surgery. All opiate based drugs make my skin crawl. I always knew that I was allergic to morphine but I found out that a synthetic form of opiates also makes me itch like mad. So it's tons of Benedryl for me. I can't type much, so I'll answer you guys later when I'm not flying on Perc-10's. Hugs, Jane

Jane, Glad to see you are home recovering! I wanted you to know that I haven't drank a soda since you mentioned it and I've lost 1.8 POUNDS! I'm sipping water and trying to eat clean. A yummy salad with chicken breasts I made last night. Take Good Care . . . REST and make sure you drinking plenty of fluids!

See, I told you! All that sodium will kill ya! Anyhoo. I was drinking Diet Ginger Ale in hospital because I was so nauseated from the pain meds. Now, it's back to tea and crystal light. I fell off the wagon for one day but I think I was allowed. I hurt pretty bad. It's not as painful as the Tummy Tuck but hurts nonetheless. It's awkward more than anything. I'm getting ready to look at my incisions, I'm sure they are going to be scary!

Hey Robin, I'm feeling pretty groogy. I have to shidt myself around every half hour or so to prevent blood clots. This is not a walk in park. The TT hurt worse but this is just different. MY azz is pulled so tight and the lipo has left me bruised and swollen. It's going to take awhile to see the results.

You Crack me up! I was going to ask some smart ass question about "Shidt"ting yourself around, but I knew the drugs were making you feel "groogy". Sorry you're in pain, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run! Get some rest and don't "shidt" yourself too much! Hugs, Robin
