I have a question....
Hello....
I am still habing some "FOAMIES". Can anyone tell me what they do to prevent this, when or if it does happen? I notice it is alot of drainage, so I am taking sudafed, and claritin. I also get this if I over eat, or eat too fast, now I know how to stop those, but I am tired of having to go to the little girls room and stick a finger in my throat.
GROSS!
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Love,
Stephanie

Yeah, yeah...I just hate it though. This last time I didnt have the same bad experience, the first time I woke up when he was pulling it out...I was horrified.
So, maybe it is time for me again....
Me....look good? no chance, I feel like crap. I wish my hair would start growing more, I am taking Biotin..seems to be helping some. But....not fast enough LOL.
I go every week to get blood drawn and the ladies there say they see a diference every other week, I will be nothing by the time I am done with all this...4 more months...yuck.
Thanks
Stephanie
One,.....don't stick your finger down your throat. That will make the experience more violent than needed and lose more than necessary. Do stay close to somewhere so you can spit out what comes when it does.
Two. Foamies are as you say a results of eating too much, or too fast or both, but foamies mean you are stopping just a little too late. If you were stopping a lot too late it would be worst; more pain and discomfort and more serious vomitting. Go ahead and ask me how I know!!!
Anyway, frustrating as it may be, slow down a bit when eating. Stop alittle sooner, maybe stay with some softer foods that go down easier and stay down better until it has been awhile longer. Foods I couldn't eat, I can now (recommended foods, not stuf we shouldn't have anyways), better anyways. Fish and white chicken meat still get stuck and cause foamies for me.
Otherwise, sounds like you are doing well. Best of luck to you. I call these bumps in the road of our WLS journey. I am guilty of wanting to progress too fast, lose too fast. I just have to take a step back and exercise a little more patience. SO far it works for me.

Lucky you, you better knock on wood there. I think it was more or less eating too much, one of the nurse practs says I am having the Will syndrome, meaning I am trying to eat like my hubby can now. LOL.
I know better, and I feel like crap now, so I may have to take that journey to the finger route, It may hurt, but makes me feel better in the long run. My pouch is talking now, trying to get that food that is sitting at the top in....Gross.
Anyhow, thank you.
