I have been approached by a Journalism student to take part in an interview for VCU Medical College . It wil be dealing with , Obesity , it's affects both physically and mentally . I will also be discussing child hood obesity and how it affected me and others that have gone through this . Is there anyone here in the VA Area that has an Obese child , and would be willing to discuss the impact this has on their life ? She is wanting to interview a family as well. Please email me if you would be interested in sharing your story with the University for this documentary . Thanks, Natalie

I was overweight but not obese. BTW--I was intereviewed by folks at VCU/MCV through their information management/PR folk. I was even quoted in the article which is now on-line,about being a participant in Ronnie Evans' Exercise Kinesiology research. They are good about getting the word out. Have fun! Lois

Nat Will and I were both obese children. And alothough our oldest doesnt look obese, she is quite tall etc for only being 11. If you need us, let me know. Hope all is well, otherwise....oh, and thank you for the scare. Stephanie 421/265/220

My daughter is 14 years old and she didn't always struggle with her weight but last year she started having a lot of emotional problems and has been on several medicines since October 2005 and has been gaining weight ever since. She has gained 60-70 pounds since March of last year. She is probably 5'6 and weighs 200lbs. Let me know if I can be of any help. Jennifer
