Update on my PS Consult .
Well , I was not impressed at all with my PS consult . Would he perform surgery on me knowing I was adrenal insufficient . Yes, He was very familiar with my needs so that was out of the way .
We did the entire body look over .. He told what all I needed . WOW .. was I shocked .
He wants to do a Fleur-de-le Tummy Tuck . 7500.00 $
Breast Lift with Augmentation 7500.00 $
And other things but those to start . OK .. The prices to me where too high . Especially when he showed me pics of his work . He went to tell me that the reason his patients had such wide scars from it all is because he pulled them so tight . I was amazed .. they where not pretty at all . I Have had other surgeons tell me and show me the scaring and it did not look wide at all .. so that really freaked me out .
And the Breast Lift .. OMG it looked like he cut them about 4 different times .. and assured me the scaring was minimal .. Not impressed there either .
So I have decided to go with having Doctor Hutcher do my TT .. as he will fix my hernia and do the FDL TT .
I will be going back to Doctor Kreiger for the rest . He was more reasonable and his work looks the best .
When will I start this /? When I get back from my Honey moon .. Thank God ..
Overall .. great visit .. but not impressed ..
Thanks ,
Nat
Morning sweetness =))
I'm so glad you are pursuing the resconstructive end. With all you've dealt with, it will be icing on top of the wedding cake LOL
Its good that you're getting different opinions and consults too. Its amazing how doctors work is all different. Reconstruction really is a form of art, isn't it?
I had checked into a doctor a couple years ago, about getting my butt lifted. He wanted 5K, which I thought was reasonable, but, like you, I was NOT impressed with the b4/afters, didn't see much difference.. so I walked.
Thanks for the update ... now that you have a plan, you can focus entirely on your upcoming wedding =))
Love ya
I don't blame you for going elsewhere sweetie. I paid more than that for my surgery, but I knew that my PS was outstanding and worth the coss. But for mediocre work? No. I think it was the best move on your part. Hey, if you do get your Augmentation. I have a Mentor Implant brochure for the refer a friend program. If you get mentors, and you get your doc to fill out the brochure, we both get $50 American Express gift checks. Let me know if your interested.
Hugs,
Jane
Hey Sweetie, Actually I can refer up to two people. I don't think I get more than $50 total, but hey, if I can get my friends free stuff I'm all for it. I also have a special invite to see a lecture from a mentor representitive on the 12th down here in NN. I can invite a guest. I already have implants. But I'm considering switching them out (Yeah, thinking hard about it) so I might go anyway. Hey it's door prizes and catered. I've shelled out a lot of bucks to these people, they can give me some free stuff! . I thinking about switching because I getting some slight rippling underneath my left breast. They also have that "water-balloon" feel. We know for sure that I need a small revision to remove more skin, but I'm debating about the changing out of the implants. I just got so much crap on my plaste right now, that I don't even want to think about another surgery.
MY advice, pay extra get the silicone. I think you will be happier with something that feels more natural. I'm sorry I was too cheap to pay the extra $1500 the first time around.
Hey sweetie,
I've been thinking about switching mine out too.. Not necessarily to silicone.. hadn't thought about that aspect, but definitely a bit smaller. I dont think my skin is handling this size very well, and I've never been happy with the size at all. I'd feel more comfortably a size smaller. I cannot imagine the cost, and now is probably the worst time financially to think about it, with all I'm facing, but hey.. its all about me, right? LOL
Well, you know I agree with you. I think your implants are too big for your frame. You know after having big boobs for so long, you just don't want to deal with them anymore. You have to do whatever makes you happy. I've decided not to get my arms done. After talking to Dana, I've decided on thermage for my arms and my calves instead of doing brachioplasty and lipo. It's cheaper and well, no scars is a plus. My arms are not that bad except near the armpit. You and Lei have good looking scars, but since Dr. Merrill is not available, I'm going to do it less invasive. Revisions on breasts are pretty common. I think that with you going with a smaller implant they will need to make your pocket smaller but I think that you will be a heck of a lot more happier. After my next two surgeries, I want to be done with this. My next one is the "biggie". I'm gonna be a hurtin puppy for awhile. Only 10 more days! I'm start to freak!
Hey woman!
I agree, I need to go smaller.. It was my original intent. I asked for large C's or small D's, and got DD+ lol.. Its really done a tole on me, I can tell ya. Anyway, about your comment on Thermage.. I haven't heard of this used other than for facial procedures. Can you give me some links to check into for other areas?
I'm really torn.. do I wait for Doc Merrill to finish with his mission, and come back to us.. or do I pursue another surgeon?.. I truly feel his specialty was the tummy tuck, although he'll claim it to be the breasts LOL... who am I to doubt... um, and unsatisfied customer.. thats who. I love that man dearly, trust me.. just wish my boobs were different.
Its hard to deal with regret, especially after such a financial committment.. but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Have you done any research into the "gummies" ? Ive heard a lot about them recently
