Hello Moni: I would suggest to go to your Surgeon right away. This LEFT SHOULDER pain also means you could have popped...It is true...It happed to my hubby, Will B Thin, and he was in Septic shock. Dont mean to scare you, But CALL them now. Stephanie

Actually that is a common area to get gas pain but if you are concerned you should call the doctor and get his opinion... Jackie

The shoulder pain was one of my worst side effects, but it went away after about a week. Good luck!

Monica, Carole on the Jan board posted that she is having gas pain issues in her left shoulder area. You might also try posting there. Hope this helps. Anna

I hear ya on the shoulder pain! Mine is not right in the shoulder but more in the left collar bone when I lay on my left side in the bed. I have been experiencing this for about 2 weeks now. I can't figure it out other than either gas or stress. I love laying on my left side....always have but every night before I go to sleep I try it out only to find..Yep, it still hurts so then I just roll over on the right side and try to get comfortable so I can finally fall to sleep. I used to have alot of trouble with laying on my back because my right leg has nerve damage from my knee to my hip and it would start tingling and then go numb. This has gotten a little better with the weight loss. I guess I don't have all that fat pushing on the nerves when I am on my back. Being heavy sure can do strange things to our ablilies to lay comfortable and get a good night sleep!
