Paperwork has been sent to Insurance Comapany

My surgeon has sent my paperwork off for approval. I have Carefist BlueChoice. Does anyone know the average time it takes to get a response? The Dr gave me a date for March 2, 2007 with the hopes that Carefirst Approves me...
