I cant believe this, this is a nightmare. Yesterday I had my pre-op appt with the surgeon, and he said everything is good to go. I got an answer as to why I cant have RNY (I have too many polyps-will write about that later in my profile). So I was excited, from yesterday it was a wee****il surgery. So last night, I go to start my CPAP machine, and what happens, it goes crazy, and gives me an error code message. I call the company and they tell me it needs to be serviced. What am I to do. I have to take the machine with me to the hospital, Im hoping as soon as the doc office opens I can call and they have one I can borrow. The devil is trying to win, but he's no. Im going to beat him. Anyway, Just wanted to vent. ~devil beater moni

Monica- Deep breath! I would call your surgeon's office and explain the situation. They may let you get by without it (if you're not high risk in that area). I took mine, wore it out of duty the first night and then begged not to use it the second night. They said I was hooked up to so many machines they'd know if I quit breathing.....BUT, I have/had very mild apnea....so your case may be different. Just check...don't get too discouraged. The LORD is in control of the timing...just do your part and HE will be faithful. Christina S

Take it to be serviced. They will give you a loner. This is what they always do. Good luck, Loris
