Woooooooohooooo!!! Tomorrow is my big day!
Thanks Jackie....that's the plan. It blows my mind that I am excited for surgery...
Even my boss said I've never seen someone so excited about getting cut on. However she did say to get all the plastics that I could out of my insurance....
She is really a great boss though. She gave me a card with 20 dollars to buy books and what not for the hospital.....so sweet!! Even if I don't get to read in the hospital I will have all that home time. Woooohooo really looking forward to that.
(((hugs)))
Anna

This is great Anna!
Congrats and best wishes. I think someone said lip balm is so important; all I seemed to have needed were my slippers and robe so that I could walk. I had a lap band in 5 days ago; I wasn't as nervous at the end as I thought I would be; however, I didn't sleep the night before since I had to be in admitting at 6am.
My prayers are with you for an uneventful surgery and recovery....

Hi Anna, I can't believe it's here already!! I say that, but I'm sure for you it's been dragging. I was excited too! I kept thinking why aren't I more nervous. I just wanted to get it done and start losing.
My advice - leave the book!! Don't overpack, I think what you have is good. To tell you the truth I didn't even take pjs, I just kept on the hospital attire, that worked for me. Slippers are good.
What hospital are you going to be in Anna? And what time is your surgery?
Thinking of you honey, and sending lots of good chi your way for a successful surgery, I know it will be.

Thanks Donna!! I was just thinking I probably won't use my jammies but will take them just in case. Most likely I will wear what they have. I know I am so excited and that's what I keep thinking too...why am I not more nervous.
I will be in Roanoke Memorial, my surgery is at 8:15. My hubby will update that afternoon.
Love ya!!
Anna

Hey Girl! I'm so excited for you. I'll be praying all day. I packed a bunch, even a fan, and didn't use much. I used my glasses (vs. contacts), my robe (to cover the tush, you won't want to change into PJs when you're hooked up to everything), and slippers. You don't have time for reading, if you're not sleeping, you're walking. I brought my meds too. I said **** on the make-up, cute pjs, hair stuff, lotions, etc. I just wanted to go HOME! The only thing I may have changed was to bring something to make my bed more comfortable, like a pillow or extra blanket. I was warned about the heat so much, I didn't think it would get cold. I was in a lot of pain though from the gas.
Walk, walk, walk!
Love,
Amber
