Thanks to All that Came ...

First I want to thank my volunteers for the Event .. Cathy Alpin , Jackie Thodos and Joanne Tigert . These ladies were a great help to me . I truly feel that everyone had a great time .. seeing everyone dressed up in there Disco outfits was a riot .. and so creative .. !!! I received so many compliments on the event .. and all praise goes to David .. he does such a wonderful job putting these together . I am truly upset though over my vendor participation , I had 2 that canceld on me last minute . One due to death in the family and the other one had an family crisis .. so I do apologize for them not being there . As David said in closing he may be putting together something for the summer , but we will all have to wait and see . As fo me , I will probably be busy getting my plastics done and will miss out .. but I am sure you all will have fun .. so start saving now !! Here are a few pics I captured this weekend . After a 7 hour ride home in the snow last night that should have only taken 2 hours .. Sorry I missed it, it looks like you guys had a blast! I will make the next one. Are they still talking about bringing something to the Beach this summer??? That would be awesome and I'd like to volunteer to help in any way that I can. Thanks for sharing your photos, Amber

Nat, the whole weekend was great! The way people went to all the effort to dress up and make the evenings fun was commendable - and a heck of a lot of fun!! I am sure that no matter what you are having done you will still feel the urge and lure to come to any event unless it is not physically possible!! How can we do this without you?! I personally had a good time this weekend and hope everyone else did too. It was so good to meet new people and see familiar faces again too. Just like in High School, you got a pic of me at a buffet. My high school yearbook always had a pic of me either eating or getting ready to eat...see a pattern here (lol). It's all good though. I had a great time. Saturday was a blast at Joe's. I got a workout with the dancing! I met some great people this weekend and finally got to meet people I've wanted to meet for a long time. Got to hang out with all my girls. Some of you I didn't get to spend nearly enough time with, busy, busy, busy. I hope everyone got home ok. I was racing to beat the Ice. Hey Jane - it was so good to see you again and you are looking SO good after your plastic surgery!! I can't wait until I lose a bit more and get ready to get mine..... We had to drive home in the snow which hit us about 10 minutes after we started out on 95N - luckily we were home before it really started to get bad.... last night it had stopped but this morning it was freezing ice and very dangerous.... It was a fun weekend - I just love these events!! Jackie

Hi Jackie, It was really nice meeting you and your husband, the outfits on Saturday night, just beat everything. You did an incrediable job of putting those together. I thought about you driving yesterday, it took me so long to get back, my husband said stay on Rt. 17 did I listen, I thought I am going Rt. 3 into Culpeper, oh what a mistake. There were accidents everywhere. I would have been afraid to tell him if anything had happened because he thought I was going in a different direction. Anyway, I did get home safe and sound and hope everyone else did also. Take care, Donna
