Thank You-Update on my Friend

I want to thank all those who sent prayers. Jason is still in very bad shape (Coughing up blood). But he hasa little bit of hope today. They are doing a catherization on his heart and suspect he had a aortic aneurysm. If this is the case, he will have to have open heart surgery. He has a good chance of making it through this but will have to endure many months of rehab, plus possible further surgeries. Most people with his condition (Marfan's Syndrome), do not live past a certain point in their life. Undiagnosed patients often die before age 30. It wasn't until I sent him articles on the syndrome (I have in-laws with the syndrome), that he finally sought help. It was kinda late in regards to the damage done to his heart, but with treatment, he could live a little longer. Please continue to pray for him. His procedure is today and he's scared of going under anesthesia and not waking up. In his case it could happen. Again, bless you and your kindness and prayers. He really is one of my very best friends (I've known him since he was 13). Jane
