From experience I can tell you that April in London will be cold and wet so wrap up warm - also study the exchange rate - last time I went home to Scotland the dollar was not faring well against the pound and we were getting robbed as things were SO expensive! (gas $96 to fill the tank etc....) Good luck swimming with the dolphins - how neat! Jackie

Alan is a former Coast Guard man , and is now a Federal Police Officer . He was at the time we met a K9 Bomb sniffing dog trainer . And we found out that he can still use his military discount as well for our travel plans . Hugs, Nat

I love London! The Kew Botanical Gardens is a short subway ride from the city, and is one of my favorite places to hang out. I think Windsor Castle is worth the time, and Windsor is such a cute little town. The Tower of London is great, includes a guided tour. I like the "Eyewitness Travel" books. You can go to Barnes and Nobles and scan through all the tour books and see which ones are best for you. So much to see and do! You will have a great time Kim

Hey YOU!! I'll let every one else tell you the wonderful things about London, because there truly IS and it's the land of 'romance' how could that not be perfect for a honeymoon, right? My best advice to you, if you go there, is to budget budget budget. What you THINK you'll need, American Dollar wise, be prepared to put twice that aside. For once, no, I'm not kidding. Paul and I were in Scotland, 2 years ago, and did a quick train ride up near London. I absolutely and completely agree with Jackie. The American Dollar is worth NOTHING there (in London or Scotland)! Seriously, 50% value immediately LOST - based on the exchange. So budget, budget, budget. When I flew out 2 years ago, I had $2000 spending cash saved up, we tapped into another $2000, just to get through the basics like hotels and meals. I was shocked at how bad the exchange rate was and unfortunately it's NOT any better. My husband is currently out in that 'area' (not London, but close enough that they share similar exchanges) and trust me, everytime I see the Debit or Credit transactions, I want to cringe - everthing costs TWICE as much! Paul will pull $50 out on our ATM card and it registers and debits from our bank as $98 dollars pulled out, if that gives you any idea. Ouch!

Tinkerbelle, I don't know a site for London. When my husband and I went it was a sales incentive that I won from M&M Mars. They planned everything for us! I just wanted to mention one thing especially, that you both should do. We went on a night cruise down the Thames River and it was fantastic, so romantic and beautiful!!! Daytime cruises are really fun too. It's colder then here, so pack clothes that are warm enough! Also, there is a really neat club in Pickadilly Circus called the Hippadrome if it's still there. Very international crowd and great music and dancing! My vacation there with my husband was like a second honeymoon, it was fantastic!! Have fun and take a lot of film if you don't have a didgital camera!!! One more thing, if you are curious about Paris, another really cool thing to do is take the Eurostar, super high speed train, from London to Paris, under the English channel. Paris is the most incredibly romantic city we've ever been to! Have fun!!! McLean

Nat, Last time I went, I used British Air. They ( and most other big airlines) have their own travel agents. They had a package deal going at the time that I have seen run since then. For every round trip ticket you bought you got transfer tickets to the city ( which you want as they are worth $100+ each), 2 free nights at a hotel, and breakfast -- so we got 4 nights. If you have enough frequent flyer points you can use you can even negotiate for some tours. I advice you to take the gray line tour 1 day which gives you a good overview and then you can go back on your own to places you want to see more of. See you tomorrow CathyA

I found the British Air site yesterday offering the 2 free nights if booked with them . I did some research on the rooms , and it is a really good deal . My main reason for wanting to go is Princess Dianna . My dream has always been to lay flowers at her grave site . I want to travel to Althorpe . I am not sure how to pull it off but I am going to do it , if I have to hire someone to take me out there . She meant so much to me .. she was my idea of such a romatic - loving person .. and I loved her . So I will be going there .. My brother goes to London a lot and had told me to be careful of the hotels .. that some are really bad .. some are really good . I will work on a package deal .. and see what we come up with . Thanks and see you tommorw . Nat
