Surpassing My Goals

How inspiring you are to me. I am at the beginning of my journey, and I have more weight to loose than you did, and I will be getting the lap band so it won't be as fast as yours but there are people here, like you have done it and I can do it. You should take every pat on the back you can get because to me, you deserve to feel all the pride in yourself you can after what you have been through. You deserve to wear smalls because you worked hard and earned it. Congratulations!

It doesn't matter what type of surgery you have, we all have many of the same issues at hand. You may not lose as fast as RNY but I've seen some very successful Lapbanders. I really think in the end all we want is to be victorious over obesity. It doesn' matter how we achieve it.
