Hurt self at work

Went back for my first day today, got out of the car, realized as mother was pulling off that my return to work form was still in the viser...she never heard me and I went to smack the car with my hand and fell flat on my face in the road. Guy ran up to me to see if I was ok, had to take a moment to groan about pain in face, cause it hit the ground pretty hard(hard enough to break the glasses and you can see rock marks in the lense) and looked up, he went..oh don't get up, your bleeding. Yes, bleeding badly. I ended up needing stitches in my chin, luckly the cheek and forehead were not bad, although without the glasses im sure I would have broken my nose and had to get stitches in my forehead too. Right now in just a massive amount of pain on my face, and my hands are all skinned up, so it sucks. Also landed on my stomach, something started bleeding, but the ER people didn't seem concerned, and I called Dr Hutchers nurse's just to make sure, they will call me if they want me to come in on Friday. So, I couldn't just come back to work after a month and a half, I had to make a grand entrance all bloody and bruised..wtg stupid me. Melli

WOW ! that sounds rough Melli! I hope you start to feel better soon - they will be talking about your entrance for a long time lol!!! I would go see your doctor anyway as you want to be sure you did not damage anything in your stomach... Jackie

Yes one day it will be funny..ill try to take photos of my face and post them...is not pretty though(hah if I am eeeeeeever pretty). Melli

Oh, Melli, I am so sorry but I don't know about anyone else but I am so clumsy anymore...I think my body is off balance now...Haha.. Anyway, I hope you are better soon....and please take care of yourself and no more chasing cars..that is for dogs...hehe... Hugs, Betsy

Hey Melli, What an entrance!! Hope you are feeling better today. I saw on your profile that you had lost 29 pounds on your 1 month check-up! That's great!!! Lauren (my daughter, your hospital roommate) has lost 28 pounds as of her 1 month check-up. Keep up the good work!! Tammy

Yeah was a wonderful entrance! Yeah, now its closer to 40 lbs that I have lost Thanks for everyones kind words!
