SW VA support mtg tonight

Hello to anyone in Southwest Virginia! Support group meeting tonight in Marion at Smyth County Community Hospital. That's Tuesday, Jan. 30, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the 4th floor education room/meeting room. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month.

Wow! Great to hear from some local folks! Lois, where has Melissa (B'burg) been hiding? I haven't heard from her in FOREVER. If anyone knows or talks to her, please let her know I'm hunting her. The support group last night was helpful, but had such low turnout. I know we have at least 60 local people who have had the surgery, but how do we get them to come to the meetings? I definitely need face time with people who have done this! Anyone have tips for building a better in-person support group? Lee Ann
