Amazing News for Me!!!

I know this is off-topic,, but I just had to share this with my OH family.....I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!!! My son and his wife are expecting in July. You may recall that I went out to Vegas in June for their wedding. They told us after lunch on Thanksgiving. Man, am I ever thankful for so many things.....like that he didn't have to give me this news BEFORE he was married! She is really having a tough time with feeling sick; hopefully, that will get better soon. I always thought that I'd feel really old when this happened, but I don't. I'm simply thrilled and pray for a healthy baby. Thanks for sharing in my joy! I love you all! JoAnn

Hi JoAnn - congratulations to you honey! That is so wonderful. I know how excited you are. Actually, I can remember when I had my first grandchild. It was so awesome. Oh, and just to make you feel good, even after 11 grandkids -- yup, that is 11 and another one on the way in a couple of weeks!! - I don't feel old, at least not from the grandkids!! Sometimes I feel old but that is from wrinkles, or walking carefully from my knee surgery, or something like that. The grandkids make me feel young~~ Have fun JoAnn!!
