She had to have been SO proud of your accomplishments and probably a wonderful sense of relief/peace, knowing that her daughter was once again HEALTHY and living life. Unfortunately, as SMO's we're walking talking ticking bombs when it comes to long term anything, ya know? Congratulations on all your special moments from the trip. Hey Lei - first what is an SMO?? It was a real sweet reaction from my mom. She has always been sort of low key about my process. I wa a little surprised. We had a family reunion picnic last Sunday and I got dressed and went out to the front room (I was staying with her) and she said 'that top doesn't show your thinness, do you have another one'. That was funny for me because I thought the top was a good one!! Okay, so why haven't you answered my last three emails to you!! I know you are busy and always get a ton of them, but??? I wanted (and still do) to try and get together wth you and the VA Beach chicks for lunch sometime in September. But I haven't heard from you about it so I wasn't sure if that was a good idea anymore. I thought, okay, so what did I say to Lei to tick her off at me, and then I decided you were just busy cause if I did say something I know you would have yelled at me!!! Ha ha - Congratulations on the skinny pants. I really do mean that Lei cause I know you've been working on it and what an accomplishment as well as an inspriation to others going through this. And what exactly did you mean when you said something like it works if we follow the rules? Sometimes I think during this first year since it seems to work just by itself, I might forget the rules! I know that sounds ditzy, but do you mean the protein, the water, the vits, the exercise. What am I leaving out!! I know this is a long response and you probably aren't there anymore - but if you are, have a great time tonight! Take pictures of course. HUH!!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT THREE EMAILS???????????? YOU KNOW I NEVER IGNORE YOU and I promise you, send that lightening bolt NOW, if I'm lying, I never got ONE of your emails, none of them. Well, none in the last 2 or 3 weeks? I think we had some rapid firing email between us about three weeks ago. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, I HATE MY INTERNET SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me, you are NOT the first to tell me that they've sent me emails and I don't get them. Had a huge problem with mine and Wendy's server two weeks ago, nothing she sent over would come through. Do me a favor, okay? From now on, whenever you send me an email send it to BOTH of my email accounts at the same time. This way, if one server is mucking up, the other one will hopefully work. Write these down, gorgeous: [email protected] [email protected] My girly-girls here in VaBeach have started doing that too, only cause I really do drop more emails then I rec'v at times. I can't even tell you what's causing it but c'mon girlfriend, when have I EVER IGNORED YOU????? You know you make my heart smile and if I can't be with you in person, then emails are the next best option. Can you REFORWARD those emails to me? To both of the above addresses? LOL - I was literally heading upstairs to wake up my sleeping giant (Paul) when your email came over, we need to get ready for the beach but I was so FLUSTERPATED about the three emails and you "thinking" I would ignore you that I had to pound this one out real fast, first!!!! Okay - in answer to your questons, SMO = Super Morbidly Obese ...and the RULES, I reference is the typical, Eat DENSE proteins first, then veggies, then a bite or two of the carbs (bread, taters) ...then everything else you mentioned, lots of H20, vitamins and movement!! Oh, and NO grazing!! ..which was my culprit. Love you sweety - send those emails back to me, please, YES we can hook up in September!!!!!!!

Hey Donna - I am so glad to see you back!!!! Your mom's reaction was very sweet and I bet it brought tears to your eyes - your family are probably all extremely proud of you!! We are certainly proud of you here!! Enjoy your L's!! Today I got into a size 14 jeans and you just can't take the smile off of my face!! I never thought I would see that size again!! Considering before I was a 28 in jeans and so would never have considered wearing them. Now I am looking forward to getting down to a 12! You have had a very successful year Donna and we all love you!! You deserve all of your success and all of your happy family moments!! Jackie

Hi Jackie, I thought a lot of you as we had our family reunion like you all did a few weeks ago. It was fun. We had more people attend than ever, and so many people told me 'it's because you're here'!! I felt good. But except for a few, they all live in CA and like I told them, look, if I can come 3000 miles, you can come 400!! That guilt always works! Size 14!! You go girl!! That is awesome. Hi Donna - the family reunion we had was really Bill's family but they consider me part of the family so I had a lot of attention lol! My best friend is here from New York - just for the weekend and she says she just can't believe the difference in me since she saw me 4 months ago!! Our next meeting is September 9th as many of us are doing the Walk From Obesity the week after - hope to see you there!! love you too!! Jackie
