Dancing this Saturday - VaBeach!

Hello friends ~ Just a quick update before I head out the door to meet some friends for lunch. Figure I better update NOW, since tonight will be busy and spent with my hubby. It's his Birthday and I'm his present! LOL, oooooh alright, ME and an IPOD player, but he can play with that another time. I'll be calling the dance club again in the morning with a FINAL count. For now we have a table on hold for 15 and I'll be increasing that to 18, with the adjustments below, made. All are welcomed, the more the merrier! Sorry Amber... I've been in Richmond for a few days (work) and just catching up with the posts. I don't live near the oceanfront...I live pretty close to Night Fever (Chick's Beach) and I have the worst trouble finding my way around! I'm not crazy about driving at night either Christine

I really want to go on Saturday, but I need to find some transportation. I don't drive at night because my vision is not well, especially outside of the oceanfront. If anyone cares to let me ride along, I'm not a psycho, promise!!! I live about 7 blocks from where you all are meeting at the Oceanfront. Let me know!!! We'll exchange numbers. Hello Lei, and all, I had been planning on going down to the beach this weekend with some friends- sort of a last weekend for us before we have to go back to work! Soooo I will probably see you all hanging out as we are staying in one of the hotels near the Hilton. I will look for you all and pop over to say hey and see what's shaking. I'm not sure what our exact plans are as I am one of a group, but I will certainly be looking for you to say hi to and finally meet some more people from OH -Diane

Wow...I love you. Will you start planning all my children's birthday parties and take over my position as the "Team Mom" for my son's football team ?????????? I just don't have these planing skills !!! I am gonna try to get to the beach Saturday morning also...but have you seen the size of those jellyfish??????? I don't think I will be in the water !!! Pete is coming home in a few and we are heading to the water park with the "churrin" as Christine and I now call them !! I can't wait to talk to you guys about where all you have been and get Paul's perspective of Pete staying in for 30. We are in limbo. - yep, and they're about the size of freakn DINNER PLATES! Uh, the large buffet type dinner plates, not some cute lil china pattern. The thing of it is, they really do tend to stay AWAY from the beach at the boardwalk. That doesnt mean they're not there, we see 'em all the time, but it's normally the tiny ones, the size of a biscuit and the kids play with them - unfortunately, leaving them out to dry in the sun and then they feed 'em to the sea gulls. Somehow - I don't think that's how the "food chain" is supposed to work? Paul, Wendy and I took a boat out for the day about two weeks ago - launced it out of Norfolk and the water there was COVERED with the suckers. Oh, and then Track, Paul and I went kayaking, and they had big sea nets/fences up on a portion of the water we were paddling and it was laced with jelly fish that had been washed into it. Ugly lil suckers! Bring your mermaid suit and some sun screen, it's gonna be a gorgeous day. Havent a clue where we'll finally end up (near the stage or down by the water) but I'll have my cell handy - hopefully I can hear it. If we miss each other this afternoon, bring them dancing shoes and be prepared to dance ALL night. LOL - Paul is SO relieved Im gonna have a gazillion dance partners so he can rest. Hugs - Lei
