Hello everyone I'm back and doing good. I am a little sore though. Puerto Vallarta was beautiful. It was cool recovering at a resort. I am having a hard time drinking my liquids slowly. I keep getting soooo.. full. I sometimes feel like I am going to burst. Is that normal? Any advise for me would be great. How long was everyone sore after surgery? Well, I will keep you posted. Hugs, Andrea

Hey Heather! No I did not drink the water, they had bottled water for us to drink. I have to say that the water was awsome on my hair and skin! Hugs, Andrea

Andrea, Welcome home !!! Wow..recovering in a resort...sounds awesome. I didn't even go to a resort on my honeymoon !!! ( Oh yeah..i forgot I had a baby 2 weeks later... ) You are going to be sore for several weeks..but it gets better by the day. It also depends on your pain tolerance. Some people can not tolerate any pain what so ever and others sail through with just needing a dang Tylenol. I am somewhere in the middle.... Just take your pain meds around the clock for the first several days and listen to your body. I have not yet ever felt full..and that scares me. I would slow down on the amounts you are taking if you are feeling the discomfort. You probably have alot of surgical swelling in your pouch. if you are having a hard time drinking your liquids slowly try medicine cup. Sometimes I still want to guzzle when I am thirsty. Congrats on your surgery !!! Drinking will get easier as time passes... Dana

Welcome back Andrea! Glad you're doing well after being in Mexico. I'm pre-op, so I can't speak to the discomfort. Christina S.

Welcome to the losing side Andrea. Glad things are going well and you are feeling good. To get your sippign down you can also try a childrens sippy cup or a sports water bottle. The pain will fade. You will have some days that are better than others. Don't forget to get up and walk. Courtney

Great news, Man I wish I could have gone to a resort .. I got 3 months in a hospital. Welcome to the club. It is a little hard to get use to things at first but it will get better and better really quick. You will look about in a month and just think of all the changes in just 30 days. Keep it up and have fun
