What do YOU see?
Hello gals and guys - this is LEILANI, posting under Betsy Anitahugs' account.
I'm trying to help her load her new MB photo and on MY side of the computer screen, I see the new one with her grandson. On Betsy's side of the computer screen, she keeps seeing the infamous "red X" (at least we got rid of the question mark dude!).
When I log into Betsy's account, I also see the new photo. I don't know enough about this computer stuff to know if it's cause my computer still has the photo stored in it's temporary memory/files, or if it's cause OH is making changes again - thats causing the system to burp, lol, or if it's just our Betsy having a "blonde tilt" kinda moment. (notice I gave HER the blonde credit, in lieu of myself?)
Sooooooooooooooooooo - WHAT DO YOU SEE? hmmmm?
Hugs - Lei (who's hoping she looks a lot like Betsy and not the red X)
Hey Betsy -
DO ANOTHER CTRL F5 .....yah yah, I know youve done it a gazillion times, try it one more time okay?
The problem was, you'd never created a "signature line" with the new board and one of the questions that you're asked is how youl want the time and date to read on those posts. Even if you do or don't want a signtaure line, you have to update the DATE and TIME questions, for the INITIAL photo changes to take place.
Once that questions been answered and saved (which it has now) you should be able to switch out photos with no challenge.
Anyway - if that doesn't work, Im all outta answers!

Hey Lei. What everyone needs to do is clear their temporary internet files. The website has been updated, so the page that their computer has saved for faster loading is the old one, hence the red x-es. Most of us know, but in case there are those that don't.....
Click on "Tools" then "Internet Options". On the "General" tab, which should be what you see, mid way down, click on "Delete Files". On the box that comes up, make sure that you check the box that says "Delete all offline content". That will clear the cache.
These directions are for Internet Explorer, if you are using Mozilla Firefox or Netscape, those are different.
Hope that helps.
